I don't fully agree with this. If the investigation leads to police and prosecutors believing that the acts were consensual, then yes. If there's any doubt as to consent, then I'd expect police and prosecutors to treat this case more seriously.

Again, this would likely depend on the outcome of the investigation and whether the police believe there's a case to charge Chris with rape rather than just incest.
