I'm not exactly sure it's Chris exploiting Barb here. Their relationship is so fucked up and codependent that it could be either one, honestly. Didn't Chris say in the audio that Barb made the first move? And on moralfaggotry: this thing has gone big now, and there therefore is at least one person who absolutely couldn't help themselves and decided to get law enforcement involved.
