Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It's kind of fascinating in a macabre fashion to see what an executive branch does once it's run out of favors and political capital...
I can't tell if it's Biden himself or a Biden-in-all-but-name NGO that he can distance himself from if it fucks up, but is there a difference?

Just wait for it, as his brain gets more swiss cheese it will eventually reside in an era that "nigger' was common parlance. I am waiting and hoping for him to drop it in the middle of a rally.
I still say it's not gonna be a proper N-Bomb, it's gonna be some weird old-timey shit.

It's actually neither, and a sad story. Basically, the operatives who sincerely believed in Joe Biden's message but hated the realization of what his condition was split off and are trying to do what they can to bolster the intent. Its doomed to fail, and they end up being a puppet fo the oligarchs more often than not. They tried to do some stuff in Wisconsin but were told to GTFO.

A cute derail, but let's get this back on track.
No way we can't go back yet. I have to answer a question for someone!

While we're on the topic, who was the guy in the MAGA hugbox that wrote dommy mommy erotic fiction?
That would be our friend @MrJokerRager also known as Jack Edelweiss sometimes known as jackfrostz40@protonmail.com. These links here and here should get you going off in the right direction. Hey man, at least you're not @Dom Cruise.

:story:

@X Prime I am done. As you were. :trump:

More on topic, have we already discussed the protests in other countries regarding Covid vaccine/lockdowns, and that each country's news is only talking about other countries protests?

Biden hasn't run out of political capital so much as he threw it into a fire and burned it all.

Fucker could have bought the love of the bulk of the country by cancelling ALL of the student loan debt in the nation. Conservatives would have cried foul and Biden's bank/creditor masters who paid for his political career over the years might have screamed murder, but it would have fucking bought, outright BOUGHT at least a HUGE chunk of the public's support for him solely by wiping out the cancerous student loan debt holding countless generations back.

But he refused to do that and mocked people for trying to do that. And in doing so, lost his only chance getting people to like him.

Also, on the ADL, have they EVER been made to pay a price for their bullshit? Or do they have enough money and connections to the aristocracy of pull that they can never be made to suffer the consequences of their evil ways?

Not really! most of the really old shit stopped around the end of WWII. Whereas Nigger remained in common usage up to about the late 70s/early 80s.

Remember, in Orwell's Animal Farm, the Revolution that the pigs were carefully planning for weeks happened by accident because Mr. Jones forgot to feed the cows for too long, so the cows started wrecking shit and before anybody knew what was happening the animals had already won.

Not saying that's relevant to anything in the US. It's just funny that for all the careful planning of the intelligensia, sometimes shit doesn't happen until the common folk are hungry and pissed off enough.

I'd go further and say things never go as the intelligentsia wants or plans for it too. Their plans are always too complicated, with too many moving parts, and nowhere near loose enough tolerances to take a hit. Additionally, the plans tend to assume humanity is a machine that acts 100% predictably. While this latter note is usually true, it is not always true and due to the former section, it leads to the well-laid plans being well-laid toilet paper.

No beauty allowed. No excellence allowed. No pretty pictures allowed. NO OPTIMISM DAMMIT UNLESS ITS ABOUT TRANNIES GETTING UTERUS TRANSPLANTS

Harrison Bergeron wasn’t supposed to be an instruction manual, nor was it supposed to be followed as one so poorly.

Hm. I don't know how I feel about this. I think it's kind of suspicious these protests just popped up out of nowhere. Who's running these things? Are they right wing? Left wing? Why now?

Trump not being re-elected with heavy suspicion of fraud is making a LOT of people in Cuba afraid that they may have missed their only shot at improving things. The protests in DC are coming up because Biden is making that statement true to a terrifying degree. It feels weird because it is a mix of legit panic from multiple sides and virtue signaling from the usual suspects mixing together.

Edit for clarification: A lot of countries with oppressive regimes see the US as a bastion of freedom, from their eyes they are seeing the government of the most powerful military in the world turn into what they are suffering under. This induces the need to do something, like protest.

Hmm. All right, so here's how I'm looking at things.

Step One, Classification: Everybody gets classified innately as a part of how society operates. The second "Democrat" and "Republican" existed as labels was the moment that this happened. The big thing about this step is that there must not exist a cultural connection between the two. So if you hear rhetoric about one group being "un" or "anti" American for vaguely defined reasons, watch out, but we're not at the point where this could credibly be considered a step toward genocide. The 2016 (and 2020) election(s) were definitely caustic, but we haven't hit this point.

Step Two, Symbolization: See above. The closest thing I can think of for this would be the creation/implementation of vaccine cards, but you could also argue the same thing about social security numbers or, say, needing to make an account to discuss something on an online forum. Much like step one, there's a lot to be concerned about when it comes to people applying this vaguely. Just because you're unpopular doesn't mean you're being dehumanized in a way that would promote genocide.

Step Three, Discrimination: This hasn't happened at a national level. You're still capable of petitioning the government for a redress of grievances, and while some political actors have more of a claim than others (I'm thinking of Russell Greer's PAC here), I'm not seeing anything explicitly barring conservatives from seeking protection from discrimination. (You may also want to rethink this considering how a majority of the highest court in the land identifies as conservative.)

Step Four, Dehumanization: I've heard this argued about "soy boys" and "antifa" before. I'd argue that this is a sign of unfortunate political polarization rather than an attempt to create concentration camps.

Step Five, Organization: The stuff we're seeing with section 230 and Facebook is worrying! However, it's worrying in a very different way from what genocide entails. Gregory H Stanton's writings on the subject are particularly illuminating here:

When I read this, I think about the Muslim Surveillance Program before I think about anything more contemporary. (Although evidently Tucker Carlson's claiming that the government did something with regards to his recent encounter with a heckler? Does anybody have more information on that?) Yes, Facebook and Twitter are private companies who censor voices and are subject to political whims, and that's a problem we should confront sooner rather than later, but they aren't complicit in any domestic genocidal acts.

Step Six, Polarization: This inarguably is happening in the United States. Anybody who claims it isn't is lying to you or trying to sell something to you, and probably deserves their own thread if they double down on it enough. But it's not happening in line with explicit, nationally directed attempts to exterminate populations. And wouldn't this be easy now? Just withhold vaccines and medical support from red states. Heck, this has arguably already happened!

Step Seven, Preparation: I haven't seen President Biden call for a final solution to the conservative problem yet, and I'm sure Senator Manchin wouldn't be an ardent supporter.

And evidently we're not at steps eight through ten yet so I'll stop at seven. The thing is, with some of the steps leading up to genocide, they're bits and pieces of what we consider inherent to our modern system. Nobody's demanding that we stop calling ourselves Republicans or Democrats because that might lead to genocide. Everybody's supposed to get a driver's license, that doesn't symbolize anything. And fiery political attacks against the other major political wing are bog standard for all politicians. I understand that we live in frightening times. It's good to have a community that will support and protect you, inarguably so. But while polarization has hit a point where some of us are considering violence against one another, it's nowhere near as bad as conditions in, say, Rwanda circa 1994 or Germany circa 1941. It's important to see the parallels and do our part to prevent things from getting that bad, and only by understanding what happened and how things developed can we uphold our promises to never forget and to never again another genocide and/or Holocaust to occur.
Tim Pool seems to be angling towards the "Next Rush Limbaugh." His content was originally more informative with a overview of the news. Now he gets two articles then rants for 20 minutes.
To be clear, the federal election bill is -dead-. Right now the Biden admin is having trouble getting their director of the ATF in, let alone a massive election federalization bill that would have a hard time passing even the courts legendary hesitance when it came to lawsuits. Right now it simply has too many barriers to even be worth the -try-.

1: The filibuster.
2: The Blue Dogs
3: Court cases, LOTS of them,. Like, every single red state and a few purple ones.
4: Simple non-compliance.

In order to pass this, they'd need to kill the filibuster. Already a hard sell since even the frontman for the Blue Dogs has said it's a non-starter, only going so far as to present a token 'proposal'; of reducing it to 55. Something he knows will never be accepted because -even the RINOs- refused to vote for this. But, let's say by some miracle they do. The RINOs -still absolutely refuse- so now you need to convince every single Blue Dog to then also vote for it. Absolutely -no- detractors can be had or it cannot pass. That is 4-5 votes they absolutely need to get, need to control, and who all need to sign off on -blatant- immorality. Everyone is the good guy in their own story, and squaring that bill with morality is really, -really- hard. Hard enough that there are even whispers that non-blue dogs don't want to vote for it.

But hey, if by some miracle it passes -that- hurdle we begin lawsuit hell. Now, SCOTUS is traditionally really, really hesitant to take up any cases which would set a major precedent or change prior law. Well, good thing this would be -neither-. It's blatantly, overtly unconstitutional. Like, not even sorta arguable, it's literally a case of "The constitution, verbatim, says this is wrong". So no major precedent other than "No, you can't federalize elections". And it would be a brand new law, not long-standing law soooo. Yeah, very good chance SCOTUS takes the case and just goes "no".

But hey, let's say that either SCOTUS takes it too slowly or somehow drops the ball harder than even IT had ever dropped it before. And yes, that's counting the bullshit of the 2020 election. Well... there is very little way to actually -enforce- the law. As in, at all. Ever. Good luck getting red states or even Republican-controlled states to comply. And the only way to force it is to take it to the self same courts that would have punted it to begin with, in this scenario.

And that leads into the final note. The bill is political -poison-. It's unimaginably, unbelievably unpopular when shown in anything but the vaguest light. Even otherwise safe democrats would be at risk of losing their seats if it fails at any point at all.

The bill is dead, and it would take a legit act of god to make it breathe again.
I'm dealing with a marsh refuge that we thought dead in 2000. Then somebody backdoored the damn thing in by donating land to the Fish and Wildlife service in 2015 and they went "welp, guess we gotta make this refuge now."

Point being every time you think something's dead there seems to be some lich or necromancer being in the immediate area.
A cute derail, but let's get this back on track.

Biden (or at least an NGO now that I look harder?) hears the cries of the Cubans, and is responding with.... an ad buy?

And here's the image.

I'm sure that money was well spent. "We support the president's lukewarm, milquetoast response and you should too!"

So inspiring.
