I think the trans community is pretty much just a collection of autistic, socially awkward and otherwise disordered people. With TIMs especially most of them give off autistic vibes. Since they're all socially deficient they don't have any expectations from each other. It's a translation thing. Indonesian has gender neutral 3rd person pronouns and the rest of the article feels machine translated. The original has quite a few references to her sex and indicates she's a fairly devout muslim (or at least her parents are). Indonesia has a sizable tranny population but very much of the failed male beggar/whore ladyboy type.
