@GenderCop provided a pretty good source, but for me the case that really convinced me was the Kai Shappley case. His case was championed by the ACLU and was one of the most high-profile trans-kid cases and we had the mother proudly and publicly talking about how they used to beat him for playing with girls toys and wanting to wear dresses because they were determined that he wouldn't be gay until he started saying he was a girl and then they embraced it and started making sure everyone saw their brave and stunning daughter (obviously she didn't use that exact language, but as far as I recall I'm not even exaggerating).

But I'll admit, it's also kind of a cope from the anti-gender-identity wing of the progressive movement, sort of like when radfems say that it's men pushing gender identity. Gender identity is so clearly a regressive and anti-feminist movement that it doesn't make sense for its main (non-trans) pushers to be women and progressives, so we cope by focusing on the really egregious and obvious cases where it isn't.

Yep, women are extremely attuned to 'quietly leaving a place when they sense a man is being creepy there' so the presence of troons will mean all the 'normal' women just leave and the only women left are handmaidens, which is how the group then gradually turns into a tranny asspat circle.

One type of female group they have mostly left alone is parenting subs/forums/groups, because they are often gendered and will have rules like 'mothers only'. A middle-aged MtF with kids could technically get around that by claiming to be a mother, but for the most part they aren't that interested because the content is almost all babies and childcare and related life stuff, and trannies are not interested in a topic that involves focusing on and caring for another human.

I do expect that to change though, especially when it comes to pregnancy and breastfeeding groups. I expect they'll gradually get infested with trannies wearing false pregnancy bellies and asking how they look, holding reborn dolls (or the occasional unfortunate actual baby) up to their moobs and requesting validating comments, and so on.
