I have heard that "pleasant" means different things in different specialties. Evidently sometimes it just means A/O x3, but other times it indicates that the patient isn't a total whackadoo who might come back with a gun. Thoughts? Here's a blog post and a Reddit discussion about the issue.

ETA that appalling funeral speech is one of my happy places. Nothing quite like watching an unrepentant narc trying to talk about someone else. When she starts talking about Jaq's "smug, arrogant smile" is golden

Pregnant. She's due next month and posted about her glucose test last week.

I’m waiting for shit to hit the fan with Jan Jan’s baby. It’s not unreasonable to believe that she and Paul made this pregnancy up for some gifts, cash, and attention.
 
Concerning JanJan: Honestly, I think they may have posted the GD screening IG photo and YT video well after it happened. GD screening is usually done between 24 and 28 weeks. It is super uninteresting unless you fail and score a GD diagnosis, which I'm sure we would have heard about. 3 weeks ago, they posted a video where Jan got her Tdap shot, and that's usually done around 30-32 weeks, which would make Jan ~35 weeks now and line up with an end of August due date.

Jan would have likely been ~31/32 weeks in this photo, which IMO looks realisitic:

Chelsea Lawrence update: Chelsea saw her GI doctor and added a new diagnosis to the collection: intestinal dysmotility. According to Chelsea, her GI might be switching her from an NJ tube to a J tube.


Chelsea also apparently talked to her OB/GYN and they're going to reschedule her hysterectomy, which is one of the few procedures for Chelsea I'll actually endorse. In other news, Chelsea somehow fell while sitting and hurt her hip and her pain is "out of control" and she has to use ice and heat on it. So she's planning to see an ortho.

And something I forgot about in my last Chelsea post, but she says she has an appointment with Dr. Henderson in September, so maybe we'll get a spine fusion saga in the future.

It looks like Chelsea could be setting herself up for four munchie surgeries: hysterectomy, J tube, hip?, and spine.

She’s going to completely destroy her entire body.

”Intestinal dismotility” = too many opioids and benzos. What does she expect? Of course she’s constipated.

”Hip injury” = in their group chat, Allison raved about how great her doctor was and how he/she listened to her, and how easy the recovery is, and now Chelsea is going to go see that person too.

Spine. I can’t even begin to mention how horrible of an idea this is. If she had true neuro or degenerative changes in her spine that were operable, surely there is a skilled surgeon in her own state. Seeing Dr. H is going to leave her with lasting damage.

Her plans are really nightmare fuel.

I think it’s going to be the same as classical. There’s always another unknown gene or disease mechanism. And genetic testing is expensive, and sequencers don’t want to process 10000 young women’s possible non critical mutations, ya know?

yeah she sometimes uploads things to patreon long before she posts them elsewhere. She didn't make it public that she was pregnant until weeks after her Patrons found out, and when she did she used the same reveal pics.

Yeah and I strongly doubt it would be covered by insurance either unless it was for prenatal genetic counseling.
