Big parallels in the 100-year cycle. Last century we had the social/governmental upheavals of traditionalists vs. progressives, terrorism, big world wars, and proxy fights between major powers. The big wars went away with the Pax Americana, but America is decaying rapidly. We haven't had a world war in the 21st, but we did have (still do have) an ongoing conflict in the middle east that involved a bunch of European powers, with the East and their allies providing support to the local Arabs. I think we'll see a bunch of further destabilization and geopolitical shifts, and while we won't have a WW3 for a while, the conflicts that do erupt will turn into proxy wars (almost by necessity - who wants to pass up the opportunity to seize global power through a puppet state?).

Watched this a few days ago, Louis is a bit of a fag but I like his documentaries.

They are said to be extremely incompetent and corrupt. They probably shoot without even aiming down the sights and have sold off most of the ammo to make some extra bucks.

So why aren't the Lugenpresse circling the wagons trying to rationalize this like they did with the Summer of Love? An "over there" problem? Does Zuma just not have the PR that Saint Mandela did?

I could imagine either. From what I've seen, they really seem to like warning shots / shooting to miss. A mismanagement of stockpiled ammunition doesn't seem very far fetched either, with the rampant corruption and incompetence.
