I believe others have stated this a bit upthread and probably more elegantly and succinctly than I"m about to (what the hell am I talking about I just quoted someone doing it duh) but I don't think that the vast majority of these freaks really give a rat's ass about their "cause" (beneath the most superficial level, anyway) except insofar as it is being manipulated (maybe "wielded" would be a better word) as a blugeon in pushing the true cause of their hearts which is first, last, and always "Me Me Me Me Me."

Yeah, that was my point Rhys, Hubbard and a lot of other troons featured on this site really only cares about one person when it comes down to it and that's themselves. It's not the fact that they're trans that they're featured here either - their trans status is more of a consequence of them being incredibly narcissistic. And narcissists make great lolcows in general because they lack self-awareness.

I've had this thought before about _____ studies programs.

Like it would be a healthier environment generally if the black men got degrees in women's studies, the agro lesbians got degrees in Chicano studies, etc.

There's such a thing as being too close to the material. It might sharpen these disciplines if the SJWs drawn to these fields got perspectives from a different marginalized group while also being able to see where these movements whiffed or came into conflict with other groups.

Troons only care about troon issues and they only care about troon issues insofar as troon issues are their personal struggle.

You can see this with shit like defunding Vancouver Rape Relief. Who gives a fuck if a bunch of white cis women need a service? If I can't go there, nobody can!

The problem is that Retard Studies lionize their respective Retards for their "lived experience", under such pretext as "Standpoint Epistemology".
