Someone said a few pages back the they felt bad for Kristin Chirico (the fat Buzzfeed lady) and I really don't in her case becasue she loves the attention she is getting from her husband trans status. When the attention dies down, her AGP husband will find other deviant ways to validate his fetish: going poly, doing sex work/ OF, fucking a man, develop other paraphilias, join a troon cult.

I get her situation is a bit different to a mother of three whose husband has suddenly "found himself" and decided that it's transphobic if he can't pick his kids up from school dressed as a stripper, who then ditches the kids and runs off to a queer trans enby commune where he grifts on Patreon so he doesn't have to pay child support.
Or a mother of three whose husband is someone I would actually consider a True and Honest Trans and behaves appropriately - that's still an immensely difficult situation to be in, and while I'd be sympathetic to the trans woman in question I feel that the cis woman is more than entitled to consider herself widowed, and can imagine the significant challenges she faces with raising the kids, and the challenges the kids themselves face. I'd equate that her husband "discovering" he was gay - probably shouldn't have trapped a poor woman into marriage and kids if there was doubt - except even more of a struggle.
I just actually like Kristin. I think she's caught up in how great and liberating it is that her husband can "live her truth". She seems like a nice person, just misguided, and I think she deserves to be loved. But for her it's going to be incredibly hard to accept that she's trapped in a loveless and sexless marriage she can't leave (because she's painted herself into a corner with "omg I accept and validate my wife!!"), and it's going to be wearing when the poly/sex work/adult diaper stuff happens (which it will). She's basically living with a particularly ugly roommate but having to pretend she's happily married.
I get she somewhat brought it on herself, but there's a bunch of fat men out there who would love her, marry her, give her babies, and grow old with her. She's cut herself off from that because she can't leave; best case scenario they "go poly", but the guys who'd give her a happy life aren't going to be into poly stuff or be up for being in a polycule with Tiny Tim.
IDK if this has been posted or if its relevant here, but Oli London, a “non-binary” (they/them pronouns) British plastic surgery/K-Pop obsessed freak is facing accusations of “transracialism”, cultural appropriation and probably “yellow-face” because he got surgery to look like a K-Pop star and now identifies as “Korean”.
I'm mystified by Oli London because he genuinely seems like an elaborate troll - down to posting the trans Korean non binary flag he made and saying criticisms of him are especially galling because it's Pride Month. I've never seen someone "trans racial" who properly comes out and says they're trans racial, they're usually trying to stealth it a la Dolezal. But I guess a troll wouldn't completely disfigure their face with plastic surgery.
Maybe more in the category of someone like Lil Lunchbox (the clown) who seems to be deliberately trolling the audience and is self aware about how what they're doing is ridiculous, but is mentally ill enough to derail their life for the purposes of trolling
Since uterus transplants are likely impossible, do you think it is more likely we will see babies being taken away from 'unworthy' women to be given to transwomen who want their own children (since the desires of powerful men are always what counts)? Or is the pregnancy fetishism aspect too big of a deal for this to satisfy them?
I'm mystified by these demands for uterus implants. They actually sound sincere. Do you reckon they think that a uterus transplant into a trans woman is actually possible, and it's just transphobic scientists keeping it secret? It probably comes from a lot of trans women being programmers or something, and thinking the body like a computer with plug and play hardware. Maybe they drank the coolaid about neovaginas being the exact same as a regular vagina, and don't understand that it's a non-functional facsimile.
As I observed in the Kevin thread, if it was possible, they'd need a donor egg, donor sperm and a donor uterus and at that point you might as well just cut out the middleman and go down the surrogacy route, and at that point you could go down the surrogacy route with banked sperm and have a child that is biologically yours. I can't see how they'd "get dysphoric" about that, and if you're that desperate for a biological child, surely you can take a bit of dysphoria on the chin?
There's plenty of cis women who have uterine fertility issues and they don't REEEEE about how they 100% should be able to get the highly experimental uterus transplant that actually is somewhat possible to perform on a cis woman, they either accept they can't have kids, that they'll need to find a surrogate to carry their eggs, or they adopt. Gay couples don't REEEE that they're not provided with a state sponsored Handmaid forced to carry their biological child, or that homophobic scientists aren't researching artificial breeding tanks.
I do think that it's probably more about wanting to be pregnant or a
real woman than it is about having a kid (see some trans women obsessing about having periods). If a trans woman wanted a child, well it depends where in the world they are, but they could adopt a child. They'd need to prove to the adoption agency they could provide a stable home and that they're in a stable relationship. The fact that an unemployed trans woman who lives in a polycule where they all dress up in fetish gear for orgies wouldn't be allowed to adopt a child isn't transphobic, because an unemployed cis woman who lives in a polycule where they all dress up in fetish gear for orgies also wouldn't be allowed to adopt.
