How exactly you're supposed to tell if they are real or not? They all act like this.
If the spa has this policy (which is utter bullshit about it being 'against the law', if someone is being a nuisance you have every right as a business owner to ask them to leave), they definitely shouldn't allow children to come. That type of environment they've created isn't safe for women, much less kids.

It's not so much that anyone can really tell real trans from fake trans but that trans narrative used to be sold with "transpeople just want to live as their gender of choice do dysphoria, they are otherwise normal people". This woman seems to believe that and someone with this world view about trans, someone acting absolutely unhinged or pervy will register as not real trans. To them this isn't trans, that's someone taking advantage of the situation.
That or she is trying to not get dismissed as just a transphobe.

I actually doubt very seriously there are any HSTS parading around penis flapping in front of women and girls. If they’re using the female changing area they’re trying to do it quietly. The one and only reason any troon gets his dick out around females is to use them as props in his kink. No exceptions.
I do think there is a certain kind of bi or pan complete freak who may even lean more toward getting fucked by men who still gets off on the exhibitionism, and probably has some deep and violent Borderline tendencies. gay family member went to a gay pride thing out-of-state, came back with buttons announcing, MY PRONOUNS ARE SHE HER HERS/HE HIM HIS/THEY THEM THEIRS and gave us each one, deciding which one we should have. (I got a he button, so i'm good, but he gave my brother-in-law a "they" button and he pretended to cry over it.)
this was after Mass today so it was funny. we dared him to give one to the priest, he wouldn't.
he said for all the tranny obsession, he 'didn't see' anybody he considered 'real' trans ppl, the kind he first encountered 20 yrs ago when he came out. he said everybody was easily clocked as male/female, no confusion at all. out of about 2000 attendees, he did not see anybody who looked like an old school drag queen (he said this with some disappointment, he used to hang out with them a lot in the 00s).
lots of 'gender nonconforming ppl' wearing buttons announcng trans status (cute petite teenage girls wearing HE buttons, big fat guys with makeup/men's clothes wearing SHE buttons) but said none of them could pass in a rainstorm. he didn't see anyone who wasn't easy to determine bio-sex. it made him wonder why they bother in that case? he was raised back when the trans ppl blended in pretty good until they said something.
his conclusion: he thinks its all a fad & the youngsters wouldn't be all-in if it wasn't something EVERYBODY (the cool kids) could get in on too, everybody wants to play. he said it was like goths or hippies or punks, he thinks it will pass & only the hard core (perverts) will remain. just like those other subcultures: "fashions don't have a long shelf life"
if this is true, how would it play out? the legacy of their goofy laws & rules (pronouns) will still be with us. or will it just kind of die off?
he thinks so. he said nobody seemed that into it, even though they had displays of non-binary flags and trans flags for sale, not much buying. trans wasn't as 'central' as he thought it would be, as it is central online 24/7.
now, this event was in the deep South, so that matters. but the South and Midwest USA are pretty based, if stuff doesn't catch on big here, it will not fly in the long run. he thinks its "all teenage girls and fat old guys" (his words) and it will lose cache for that reason and slowly fade away into background noise. the Grave Laverys and Rhys who get tenure, the Laurel Hubbards and Ellen Pages are what he called 'the ringers'.

i disagree
these other trends (goths hipsters emos etc) faded away because they were somewhat organic, so when the people doing it lost interest it just kinda died down.
the tranny shit on the other hand is professionalized, it's politicized, and there's big money in it. that's three strong reasons for people to keep it going indefinitely.

I think a bit of both, at some point a lot of the kids will move on, but 'trans' is now part of the language of psychological discomfort, we're going to continue to see fucked up, gay, autistic and abused kids diagnosing themselves as trans and Pharma and creepy doctors on the make love to make a profit. The porned up men aren't going anywhere either, nor are sex offenders who can get an easy time by claiming to be women, nor shit male athletes who can have some success while doing their fetish. Former buzzfeed cow Kirsten Chirico decided to give her Troon husband a clothing makeover.
This is what drives me insane about this type of tranny. You have a male body, you should try to wear clothes that create an hour glass shape ( strong shoulders, aline skirts & dresses, flares/widelegs ) . That was genuinely the way it was back in the day though. There was no real concept of "exploring your gender identity." Whatever that means. You'd have gay people decide that they'd be more comfortable presenting as the opposite sex or being non-conforming and that was that.
