The comments by the family, "reverend" and Van Jones pretty much shows why getting sympathy for their cause is hard.

Their reactions were "punch in the gut" and "unacceptable" or "slap on the wrist" to a 22.5 year sentence. Did they read the brief by the Judge explaining the sentence? No. Is 22.5 years a kick in the gut versus "suspended sentence", or 5 years, or 10 years? No.

22.5 years is for second degree stiff. But no, they whine it wasn't enough. It wont change my opinion of the cause or that they need representation, but when they fucking whine like this about a 22.5 year sentence being a let down it makes me want to frankly, tell them to fuck off.

Honestly, they are their own worse enemies sometimes and patience for their horseshit wears a bit thin. 22.5 years is the end of Derek's life,. and that isn't good enough? Well go fuck off then.

Yeah. I don't know why they're so pissed. They won. This is like the one time they managed to get a cop in jail. They couldn't do it with Trayvon, Mike Brown, they couldn't even do it with Eric Gardner, and he had the most open and shut case.

It took video evidence of the dude stomping the back of his neck in for this to happen, but who gives a shit? A win's a win. Just be happy already.

It is like we have to explain to them that a guilty verdict means they are guilty of the charges presented - not what they think it was. They see murder as murder but fail to see the degrees of murder and the reason why there are degrees. So they see a murder as first degree regardless. Sort of like when they are treated brutally by police, they want to see it as "attempted murder" rather than just brutality.

Derek got a hellish sentence for second degree and although I predicted 20 frankly I was being bullish. It is OK for individuals to think whatever, but if their opinion leaders are going to call this an injustice then I feel they are misleading their flock.

Right now the Van Jones of the world should be explaining to their flock what second degree is and why the sentence is appropriate, but instead they are whining it is not 1st degree and the whining should have been over and done with on that months ago when there was the actual trial.

If they think this was an unjust sentence they are in for a rude existence hereon out because this is pretty much as good as it gets.

The thing that made me seethe while I was watching this is that I'm sure if Shitavious raped a baby to death with an AR-15 and got 20 years, the same clowns would be saying that the sentence was too long.

The double standards are exceptional.

I'd like to see (in Minecraft) a law passed that anyone who is convicted of killing a person of another race gets hanged in front of the courthouse on the same day. Equal justice for all.

This would amuse me because everyone knows that blacks are the ones out there committing most of the so-called hate crimes. It might wake a few people up.

One of the autopsies reported after Floyd's death that he injected Fentanyl or something similar right before Chauvin encountered him. Given his prior drug habits and addict girlfriend, it's plausible to conclude that he died through his own devices. I would like to argue that the knee exacerbated those fatal side effects. Manslaughter and five years would've been a fairer verdict than whatever that jury agreed to that day.

As the old saying goes: do not negotiate with terrorists. You give them an inch, they go a mile.

Personally, I would've loved to see Chauvin walk based on the reaction of last year's riots alone. You don't go mob rule and influence public reaction through force, violence and intimidation. That verdict was rigged from the start.

It isn't about Floyd, I think personally he was a fucked up human being that I'd never associate with. He was human garbage from all accounts that seem to be accurate, a shit father and a criminal.

But he is a citizen and a fellow countryman, and he had rights. There are plenty of whites hard done too because they are white trash, but again, they have fucking rights and that is fucking that.

I'm no hero of the black man and I don't like white trash either. I know both types because I work with them and we find a means to an end to get along despite our differences. But law is law and if we don't make it the gold standard then we have unjust systems and a society. In fact, you've got no society pretty quickly.

Floyd was an American who had rights and they were violated by a countryman charged with trust and a duty of care. That is all. Don't care for him at all - or his cock.

There were chewed up pills with Floyd's DNA in the back of the squad car.

He was on a one-way ride before Chauvin got there.
