In Ireland they're floating the idea of giving the AZ and Janssen vaccines to younger people to get everyone done quicker, there are apparently talks with the national advisory board about getting them reapproved for under 50's. I havent heard anything about them being proven safe, mind, it's just a risk that politicians are willing to take.

Besides that, there's just been some crying about the Double Plus Ungood Delta variant, threats that they're not going to reopen more things as planned next month, and they were saying numbers had improved with the vaccination campaign but numbers are still being released daily so everyone can see that they've been stagnant for months.
