It's a bit of a paradox, really, but past a certain point the higher one's IQ is, the more difficult/impossible it becomes to comprehend what in the hell is going on in the heads/psyches of the Yannys of the world and to plan accordingly.
As for me personally (no genius*)--how many times have I been caught up with the "no, 'x" won't happen/'y' will never do that no one could actually believe that/act that stupidly" only to once again be hit with--"oh yes they can and oh yes they will"?
More times than I care to remember, I can tell you that!
*OK technically that's false modesty: does that count as "powerleveling" ?

The only things he'd need to change would be everything.
I can't see 1 part of his personality or behaviors that are anywhere near normal, starting with his relationship with his mother.

He's too mentally fucked to be capable of doing so, since after you fuck up your life like that there's no "solve your problems easy" cheat code like Yaniv habitually seeks. But if he really wanted to, the solution would be to emigrate to Israel, join a quiet kibbutz, stay off the internet, and be prepared to work his ass off day in and day out to be a hard-working, productive individual who isn't a menace to society.
We know JY is absolutely incapable of that, so this will never happen.

Given the nature of Yaniv's behavior, a lobotomy isn't going to fix it. It's just going to exacerbate the problem. He's already a societal menace, and the resulting lack of inhibitions, detachment from society, and blunted emotions would probably only increase his bad behavior.

How does a name change work in Canada, is it a matter of public record? If he grew a brain, sold Langley and his car, deleted his social media, shaved his head, changed to a common male name, moved elsewhere and STFU, could he theoretically leave his past behind?

No more then he was able to dodge the consequences by changing his name to Jessica Simpson. All that managed to do was slightly mess up searches for him, until everyone linked the two names together in every article and online post.
AFAIK name change is a matter of public record, and I know you used to have to declare it in a major newspaper's classified section back in the day. Not sure what if anything has changed because I don't care enough to google it. :p
