We're talking about now, present tense. Not 2016 - early 2020 when PB typically walked away in victory.

Their numbers haven't grown, and like you said have shrunk due to police arresting them and prosecutors not dropping charges like they generally do with the black block groups. Oh and being murdered.

Black block groups numbers have exploded however, especially with actually violent assholes, and now (present tense) can (and do) overwhelm what's left of PB.

Throughout the whole ordeal, actual militia's/other right wing groups that could potentially stand up to the black block groups said "fuck off Portland". They hate Portland and Oregon in general and are trying to yeet half the state over to Idaho.

The cops, with their hands as tied as they are (though a bit less tied post-election) are the only force currently standing up to them, and that's ultimately a loosing battle because the local DA still won't generally prosecute, except for extremely rare circumstances. The feds are doing more prosecutions, but still letting a vast majority go.

Cops in Portland are understaffed and retiring early, just like in other places where the civil violence has gotten out of hand. It's a battle of attrition as far as the black block groups are concerned. Their real short to mid term goal is to make life so miserable for the cops that the cops quit, and it's working.

Instead of addressing the violence in the black community you'll just whine like bitches when that violence provokes a police response.

It’s not even that, it’s just a weird nonsensical argument to make. They’re essentially implying that you have a problem with protesting in general regardless of how you do it even though if you had to choose between some gay millionaire kneeling at a football game and a single mom getting her house burned down you’d go with the former.

It’s like saying you just don’t like voting if you dislike the traditional way of voting but also don’t like just killing all the other candidates until there’s just one left. Like, maybe you can vote another way? Like with your wallet or something?

That Ubax Gardheere psychopath is kind of hilarious in that she isn't even smart enough to pretend to be remorseful for traumatizing a bunch of children. She's the victim because the police didn't take her for mental health counseling immediately, even though, at the time, she admitted to being as threatening as possible specifically because she wanted to go to jail, not treatment. She's said nothing about being concerned about the kids, not even in a mealymouthed politician's way. She's also running for one of the most conservative King County districts, so good fucking luck to her on this one.

The fact this has been going on for over a year now with no signs of actually stopping is so fucking surreal to me. Just when I think shits coooled down I check back on this thread and some weird shits gone down again.
