Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

yes. Wolf has actually been going on Tucker Carlson so I expect she will be on tonight or tomorrow. Another leftist Tucker has had on a fair number of times is Jimmy Dore. The establishment is losing their minds right now and they're about to be swept in the coming elections because these folks are turning their back on Democrats. 'Trumps base' isn't going to suddenly change their mind because this admin has been disasterous.

Democrats can lose and are losing their typical support base. I know they go through on fraud but from recent MSM screeching about 'Theyre trying to make voting harder' I'd say States are taking appropriate measures and will continue to do so.

general feeling is when more than if
2024 is a little early for normal standards and a lot of Florida jokes-not-joking that they don't want to lose him early
as for VP to a 24 Trump run? ehh, maybe? but I recall although there isn't an explicit rule about the VP and Pres from the same state being disallowed, I think I saw something that it fucks with the EC math weirdly to the point it would be a bad strategy for Florida in particular
also traditionally you VP a guy who's a contrast to the main guy, but obviously anything Trump-centric is going to have a big asterisk next to the idea of looking at traditional political wisdom
