This is actually making the 2016 show look like something Michelangelo would have carved. I actually wonder if they got some people who hated the real show and want to deliberately ruin the franchises reputation.

I never knew I'd look back fondly at the pedo driven 2016 reboot but here we are I guess. What the fuck is even the point of these endless reboots helmed by people who obviously despise the original? Like I get trying to cash in on nostalgia but this isn't even doing that, but is instead yet another wokeified post-modern 'deconstruction' that feels the need to invent problems within the original work just so the dickless writers can inject their personal politics into it.
 
The fact that the pilot wasn't picked up is interesting to me. Is Hollywood actually getting to the point where it is recognizing people hate woke shit? That script is horrendous, though, and it even getting greenlit is ridiculous.
