Doesn't work for me. If I really want to get into a text I need to read silently. If it's something complicated - return to earlier parts for context or re-read a paragraph for better understanding. Hearing my own voice and keeping the pace is distracting in such cases.

I personally think the "end up paying the price" is moreso of a warning on what he will do. He has a history of threatening to punish those that disagree with him, or punishing them (Politico, WSJ, TheFederalist, Fox (technically), Ukraine, etc.) He doesn't have a word filter. Then again, it's a very real possibility that I am simply looking into it too much. I am biased against him, I'll admit that much.
