It really isn't. Not all of the time at least. Granted, people will tolerate a bit more weirdo behavior if you're attractive, but personality and social skills are much more important. I've seen plenty of ugly ass manlets that had no problem pulling women. All were genuinely funny, charming and pleasant to be around. And I'm sure if you scroll back on the thread you can find some troons that were pretty attractive pre-transition and still became, y'know, troons.

Rape and sexual derangement must be absolutely rife among troons in order for them to draw a cartoon guide to "self-defense from an intimate partner." I'm guessing that they subscribe to some kind of progressive stack logic wherein rape and abuse only happen when someone is "punching down," so trans people aren't capable of doing those things, they just "go too far" sometimes and make their partner uncomfortable.
Feminism and the other "progressive," "liberatory" movements all helped pave the way to clown world. Decades ago, "gender creative" people were smacked upside the head and told to act normal. But since the 1960s, western culture has been infected by the idea that "intolerance" is the worst of all evils and that all people are fundamentally equal. We now have a mainstream moral framework where tolerance is the only virtue and intolerance is the only vice. So today we live in a world where Drewiepoodle the Reddit mod can invite 13-year-olds to his apartment for free hormone shots and he won't get busted because that would be intolerant.
I'm inclined to agree, but not entirely. I think I'm 80% with you here. I don't think it's the main reason why trooning out is so common. I think that the fetishization of women's lives in media and society plays a larger factor as it perpetuates the idea that the grass is greener on the other side. But I have noticed how men cannot be themselves or participate on the grounds that they are men.

Actually I have seen this in real life. I have a MTF friend (well, “friend” is a strong word, but you get the point) who is one of the most promiscuous people I know. He doesn’t even really look like a tranny, just an androgynous guy. It’s baffling. He seems to have a new girlfriend every week. My personal theory is that these are straight women who feel used by normal cishet men and date him because he’s feminine and doesn’t threaten them.
