to be fair, prison tattoos and convict culture in general isn't something that people associate with girls/women, it's an almost exclusively male thing.
if you see a dude with tons of low quality tattoos, "he must have been in prison" is a common assumption people make. for a girl with tons of shitty tattoos though, that's not the case. people will just think that she's got shit taste and low standards, but not that she's some kind of prison gang member.
