??? If somethings valuable and making money you wouldn't sell it, that's the most shortsighted bullshit you could do with it. Like "oh its projected to make 1 billion over 10 years better sell it for 1 million now, best way to profit" like the thought process here is like those patiemce experiments where toddlers eat the marshmallow now and miss out on 2 marshmallows if they had waited 15 minutes

I’m pretty sure the one way to gauge the true opinion of this potential sale is to bring up the possibility of how it’ll affect RWBY.

I wonder if any of the RT personalities will discuss the Bloomberg article during the week.

Last word by Yssa was "No news on a full season" back in January.
What Bloomberg Article?
Also, in regards to Arizal... it's not happening, and I don't need anyone at RT to tell me why.

Here are the views that the series got. Now let's compare that to the RTA channel's subs
RTAA.PNG

At the most, the video managed to gain %15 of the channel's subs, but, that's not the best part. The most attention the series ever got isn't even from this RT's Animation channel, in fact.
oof.PNG

The most attention the series indirectly got was from some obscure channel that plugged it, even Yssa's own video talking about the pilot got less views, and a RT Podcast highlight video talking about the series got less then that. The show is dead, and Yssa knows it. To anyone who reads this and wants to take away something from it? Show, don't tell doesn't work when the premise is supposed to about archiving information, and the only thing we know is one room for about 3/4ths of your pilot and a girl who is unsure of the task she wants to take until she's forced to do something different. Made more hilarious by the fact that it takes one of Arizal's friends to tell her "you've done fuck all beyond debating this career all summer, so why don't you do something different?"

Even their reddit fans aren't too enthused over this move.

You know you've fucked up when even the RT hugbox thinks your new branding is shit. Not that they'll listen, RT is like DSP with the way they hate and depend on their idiot fans.

Who was this?

Barbara Dunkelman being Creative Director is still the funniest thing RT has done in years.
They really don't like it when you point out that maybe the most uncreative basic blonde bitch there is. Who just steals old ideas. Maybe that person shouldn't be the one in charge of creative stuff. I guess sucking Burnie's dick way back is still paying off for her.

If AT&T finally find some rubes to buy and chop RT into pieces and it happens when Barb is creative director, hell, that's poetry.

Why do these faggots pretend like RT has any real value? You have RWBY, a dogshit anime dumbfuck horny teenagers watch because they don't know any better and that's it. RVB hasn't had value since Burnie was writing it and they've cancelled every fucking other animation project they've had. There's a billion streamers that can take the place of their streams and a shit ton of LP channels to replace theirs as well.

I guess Death battle has some value but Death Battle isn't a series that should exist since they're blatantly bias and do barely any research. Not to mention the concept isn't something that should exist outside of a bunch of drunken friends debating each other.

To be fair, pretty much any show that involves VS debating will likely have some degree of bias to it. Hell, I’d argue Death Battle’s actually tame in its bias since the show’s creators have had some of their favorite characters lose, like Goku and Archie Sonic.

They’re at least better than VS Battle wiki, where pretty much all of their debates boil down to looking at the characters’ pages and just listing off their powers without considering things like experience, intellect, or one character having an advantage in a specific stat.

Here's the other thing: If RWBY were to be part of a sale, what's the chances of the new company doing something like bringing in their own VAs to replace the current cast or doing a straight up reboot, even if a retool could be so drastic that you could end up just creating your own IP with the alterations you've made?

Not only is that the 100% what's going to happen, its practically required to happen, as it be the only way to ensure the long term health of the property. The series' popularity has only diminished under Rooster Teeth's leadership, and anyone with any experience in, say, tv production or animation, can see that it would need drastic changes to regain any momentum. A massive reboot is probably unavoidable at this point, along with taking the project out of the hands of the people who have been mismanaging it up to this point.

Talk about pants-on-head retarded. AT&T is struggling under the weight of its debt, sure, but that just means they will offload the easiest things to sell that make them little to no money and aren't part of either their or Warner Media's core business. The actual successful shit will be what they will keep.

Here’s my question: who’ll buy? RT is mainly some web shows, an outdated Let’s Play channel, and a bunch of podcasts. I’m not even sure that lineup can ensure you make a profit since you’re probably going to sell for scraps.

I’ll say this much: in my opinion, them bothering to do research makes them not be “just another vs debating show”. That and they actually make a fight animation from that research.
