For those of you not watching, the prosecution has successfully called into question whether or not the "pain" floyd expressed he was feeling in his neck means that chauvin was using force.

However, a reminder: None of this matters.
 
I have a legit question.. at this point, should Derek Chauvin get convicted of any of these charges?
 
Yeah, the witness was like, "I'm envisioning the perfectly compliant witness, not this situation."

I assume you mean "should he have been" and in that case, manslaughter was appropriate up until the point it became clear that the dude was a dead man walking.
 
I still think the best line for the defense will be the drugs and health conditions. They have an upcoming expert witness for that.

All I take away from this is don't be a drug fiend, hang out with drug dealers that give you counterfeit money to pass for them and definitely don't resist arrest if your body is wrecked from decades of drug abuse because a confrontation with the authorities can be deadly. I think most reasonable people would feel the same.
