Because certain professions are legally obligated to report suicide attempts or they will face problems. Teachers, doctors, healthcare workers, police, and many other people are by law to report it. Same with talking to someone about sexual assault, some professions they must report it to the police and other authorities.

not in a industry where it's literally needed to the point where one of the largest business owners can act like a major dickwad on natgeo and still get business, I mean granted it'd be a minor inconvenience and I can move towns but still its not the point if we don't report shit like risks to people or themselves, evidence, etc, in the field than that can be a legal liability, my boss applies that standard to outside of work, and truthfully because of the nature of the work we have a tendency to attract weirdos and outcasts.

If nobody knows this is your account, who cares? Ok you say you work in crime cleanup and have large chesticles. That's not enough to pin this on you and even less chance that someone you know is going to look into this.
