I think it has been mentioned before, but female speedrunners rarely have longrunning "careers" because they usually just take their runs to a reasonable point and then move on, instead of autistically burning hundreds of hours of their lives for a 1 second improvement only to get their world record taken the next day. If you find one, chances are she only streams once in a while for fun or she'll move on to something else soon. Most women who stick with the speedrunning community usually spend more time organizing events, reading donations and doing other stuff like that.

I can't imagine the amount of thirst they must encounter on a daily basis. On the other hand, their male counterparts are so cripplingly autistic they would rather try to turn themselves into a woman rather than actually talk to one for romantic purposes. Come to think of it, maybe that's why there are so few females in the speedrunning community - they're a constant, taunting, mocking reminder of their incapacity.
 
I saw that sidebar like a week ago when checking out Cosmo's rapsheet on speedrun.com and immediately assummed it was about deviant men in dresses lol.

Just another proof men are better than women even at being women, I guess?

NYT staff got upset about Tom Cotton doing an editorial. And that sort of segwayed into the Bari Weiss shit, which is sort of tied to that Harper's letter free speech shit. Which had troons on both sides of the arguement, and the infamous Vox troon "my coworker, Matt Yglesias made me feel unsafe by signing the letter and I'm going to lodge a complaint with our boss rather than talk to Matt about it." Problem is, most of what we really get out of the behind-the-scenes lolcowing of these media outlets (aside from the articles) is mediocre twitter spergings. I bet there's some really juicy shit under the hood, but I feel like farmers poking them too much is begging for trouble.

They implemented a "pronoun" feature which is pretty much expected (begrudgingly) nowadays, but one thing these guys have been doing is featured articles on the side of the site. Last week, they were promoting black speedrunners - cool. This week, they ran an article on "Four women in Speedrunning". Awesome - this is a super male-dominated hobby so I can't wait to check out these four female speedrunners and show some support!

Now, it's 2021 of course, so I fully expect one of these lovely ladies to probably be trans. Just being realistic here - in a community famous for its trans demographic + they want to push an agenda of "trans women are women" means they will definitely put one TiM out of four in here. Let's take a look.

The first is named "t0uchan", and they give a link to their Twitch channel which itself hosts links to their social media.

If I was in a 'top # women in something' list and there's a tranny in it, I'd take that as an insult. Being compared to a depressed pervert and letting men in women's spaces, our rights have been taken back by them.

The list reminds me of the "Five ways to make your feminism more inclusive to trans women" list, where #4 said "trans women are natural leaders." The intent was to make it seem like including trans women is a gain for being historically involved leading lbgt+ movements (although most attributions are post mortem trooning) therefore helping lead more feminist, but it came off as "include mtfs because they are born as men and are naturally good and better leaders due to their girldicks." It was very jarring, to say the least.

I am so unsurprised it's all troons by a troon writer, I'm only surprised that the article wasn't made by Twitch instead of speedrun.com.

What's interesting about the transsexual community, or maybe horrifying, is that even though they formed a very airtight, almost isolationist community, at the same time they've managed to muscle their way into other ones, all the while retaining their coherency.
