I lurk r/detrans on Reddit and one of the uncommon questions I see from detransitioners is "do I even have any luck dating now?" but a surprising amount of them either manage to "go back to normal" or even meet people who still find them attractive anyway (usually the LGB ones, not sure if the straight ones are so lucky). I know there's a man on there who had SRS (ouch...) met someone who didn't care and a straight woman who got top surgery managed to get married to a guy.

The U.S. has never taken care of its veterens. After the revolutionary war, there was an incident where vets actually cornered Congress with guns because they weren't receiving the pay they'd been promised. It was an almost-psuedo-coup, but allegedly George Washington talked them down. We've been fucking them since day 1, and the modern V.A. is known far and wide as a bureaucratic purgatory. I'm not one of those assholes who thinks people in the military deserve anything bad that happens to them, but if someone does cursory research on the military or its history, they should know they're probably not in good hands, so I'm always a little confused when I see some vet fucked over by the military, struggling with the V.A., bewildered that this is happening when it's basically been the status quo for 200 years. I guess recruiters are good salesmen. I wonder how their game will change with troons, because you know that's going to be the new fucking thing. Instead of "they'll pay for my college" it'll be "they'll pay for my transition." Maybe this is just a new recruiting tactic after they've crunched the numbers on demographic surveys on enlistment age teens.

Don't mean to double post, but this is a separate thing - everybody seems to be asking what the big invisible force is that seems to be pushing this stuff - demons or governments or whatever, and this lady who got banned from medium wrote some stuff about all the money involved. I haven't had time to draw on enough autism to fact check everything to my standards, but has anyone posted this here before?

I'm always hesitant to fully trust stuff like that, because they'll circle jerk around some dumb, unfounded shit and some seem pretty economic and financially illiterate, like their triumph at discovering a hedge fund unremarkably happened to have shares in both netflix and the makers of popular puberty blockers. That's not me trying to start a shittalking thread about radfems, just questioning the source.

Treating soldiers like utter dogshit is far older than even that, it's a terrible idea that can be seen as far back as written history and is widely responsible for a shitload of coups and the toppling of regimes. Rome for quite some time succeeded because they gave their soldiers solid compensation and something to fight for. Steady (if not actually good for the time) pay, often a promise of land that is sometimes fulfilled, and citizenship for yourself and your family should you not be born one.

It didn't stick and many, many famous uprisings are due to this. At this point though I'm digressing heavily from the point of this thread. Point is this trick isn't new nor unique to the US though they're damn good at it.

Hey remember that time a bunch of Italians got into a war and then got home and received nothing, got no compenstation, and wasn't taken care of

Imagine the US gets us into another war, probably for resource acquisition again, the US military once again can't win a war against fucking dirt farmers or whatever, except this time when the boys get back home they're denied coverage for their fucked up leg while some >she gets surgery to make their cock and balls into a monstrosity.

Yes I do remember the first World War. The soldiers in that war were promised quite a bit including what may have been homes. They got hung out to dry after being repeatedly ground in brutal alpine fighting and given nothing. Including social disdain by many.

Though from what little I do know I don't think anyone was getting their ballsack turned into a faux vagina. Probably.

They're known for especially being aggressive on busses. They approach people to tell them that they think they're ugly and critique their hair, clothes etc.

Anyone who they perceive as giving them a disapproving look is harassed for being transphobic, to the point where people will get off the bus to avoid them and they'll be followed until they find help.

I can't post proof of that just yet without risking revealing my identity, but I'll try to find some more info about them when I have time.

I've never had personal experience with this person but social media has been blowing up lately with testimonials about "jeffrey"

I laughed when I read that part. From what I've seen, he's seen as an absolute hazard for skating around traffic and as a threat due to his random outbursts and aggressive behavior towards people (especially while they're in confined spaces such as busses, etc)
