In any other context, this would be treated as a grotesque breach of consent, on the scale of Bill Cosby's shenanigans, but because "muh diversity", it's brushed aside. It's exactly the definition of coercion that SJWs screech and cry about, and try to paint as rape.

Fuck's sake, antagonists get a hell of a lot more interesting when you know about them and their motivations. They're even more interesting if their goals are actually sympathetic or make sense in some strange way.

But nope! Bash the fash, they don't get background, they're just here for you to beat up. That's the logic I'd expect out of those old arcade side scrollers.

Actually, strike that, those guys got backgrounds, too. Some of it may be a one-sentence spiel, but they had motivations. These "fash" may as well be scarecrows.

OH, OH MY GOD... DO YOU WANT TO MAKE 10,000 FASCIST RAPE NAZIS OUT OF OUR AUDIENCE???? If they sympathize with them they WILL start thinking about how to incorporate the fash more in every day life! We will be CONVERTING the sheeple!!!!

I think Ms. Flowers and Ms. Bad Pun Name really just have no respect for their enemies like a really weird sports team rather than think their audience can be converted (ok, I only think Heather knows that, not sure about the other one). Yet again one can point to a variety of LITERAL NAZIS in media media and see that you can do it with only losers (its hard to find a white nationalist that isn't a genetic dead end) and fetishist who don't (usually) go for actual nazis. I honestly don't know what Flowers and the funky bunch count as fash. Do mild Trump followers count? Do all republicans count? Where's the stopping point?

Personally, I find villains more horrifying when they have what you said: sympathy or making sense. Its a reminder that evil exist within all of us, and how humans can be awful with the best of intentions. I don't get why SJW drenched writers feel otherwise.

Anyway Jeffery (another writer) posted some info on a few of the characters you can choose to play as if you want. The designs range from "cute but overcrowded" to "sjw art and extremes tier embarrassing".

I have been blasted with metal chips and coolant swarf and some how this is substantially worse on the eyes. This is like someone took sandpaper to your eyeballs.

For them, all their characters are perfect in every way and they will never change or learn.

Or... Perhaps they lack characterization because the creator believes that it is "them versus the world." They can't have any specific characteristics because every other person on earth is against them. They have to leave a "blank" that allows them to put whoever insulted them last in the antagonist slot.

They just want a punching bag to wail on.
