It could potentially be congenital lipodystrophy. There is a version that is acquired (and often shows up in late-stage AIDS patients) but there is also a congenital variant, and it's an autosomal recessive trait, so the parents could be unaffected while still being carriers. Either way, she was hit severely with the ugly stick.

I know one FTM on Facebook who's just happily living a normal life. Married to a woman, raising a couple of kids in suburbia. Acts like a soft-spoken geeky dude, passes decently, voice sounds a little weird. I imagine if you're familiar with FTMs, you'd clock him as not having been born male. But he never posts about trans stuff and it doesn't seem at all central to his identity.

On this video, it gives you quite a clear view of her face. Seems quite a bad burn scars and you could see it on her neck too, as well as the 'jagged nostril'. I have seen burn victims with their nose burned out into sort of slit-shaped like that. Poor thing, really. This kind of thing can affects someone's self image a lot. The short, stubby fingers could be a result of burn too, her hands seem to have scars. extremities like finger tips seem to get easily damaged in burn cases - if not because of the damage from burn itself, when you put someone on induced coma to do grafts, it could lower circulation enough for the finger tips to partially rot off. Some of her fingers looked to be amputated and missing nails/last joint - and showing sign of skin contracture.
The hair on hair face is likely from graft site with hair, I couldn't imagine if she went on T next unless she could get these electrolysed.

Elbe case is strange, there are so few stories about him around and a lot seem like a word-by-word legend combined with the limitation of medical science nearly 100 years ago. We've advanced and understand human anatomy better since then. What he talked about himself seem like he transitioned because of a fetish, I knew a lot of male artists who drew a lot of female nude art who ended up transitioning (my friend too..) and their reason seem like it is because of their fantasy. Elbe seemed to become much more overtly sissy/demure after he trooned out even for a women's standard too... I wonder if it is related

It was one of the second place in the word that amended 'legal sex change' after Sweden in 1981, and probably the first place to allow a select cases of people to change sex marker before that... Or how roid-doped East German female athlete were sort of forced to be FtM later in life because they were not seen as female anymore socially. I think they'd still be obvious for us troon-spotter, but to many people, they can't look past the outside change and their brain jumped to 'that must be a man'.
So really, all it seems to me like a medical experiment from the time where it was socially acceptable for everyone to be a sex pest and chopping body parts down for 'science'. A sad life, really, that is now whitewashed as brave, stunning, and worth an Oscar nominee.

On the other hand, FtM troons can be easily outed by seeing the lack of distance between the edge of the mouth and the edge of the face. The fact is, women have smaller jaws and different skull shape.
A good example of this is a recent episode of Dr. Phil. A woman went on the show who was very tall, had a deep voice, and maybe a look that many of troons wish they had. Personally, I found this woman to be beautiful and I was upset because I worried trannies would find this validating somehow if they saw it, but I digress (she was from a set of triplets as well, for some reason I'd expect troons to fetishize that).
Anyway, here is the video clip. You'll notice the lack of distance between the edge of the mouth and the edge of her face, and this is the mark of a true and honest woman. Some women have bigger jaws, obviously, but this is a tell we can rely on.

I know, that''s why I mentioned that Lili Elbe was probably also a homosexual and probably that was why they did what they did to him. I mean, I can't imagine with the mentality towards homosexuality back in the 30s that they'd do this butchery to a straight man. But who knows.
And thanks to this thread, Lili wasn't the first patient. An intersex man had a type of SRS given to him in the early 1900s. Perhaps Lili was indeed intersex, which is why they thought they could implant a woman's internal sexual organs in him.
I am also currently reading The Man Who Would Be Queen, and I'm currently on the chapter about John Money's gender quackery, and boys who had a birth defect or were perhaps intersex, who's doctors told the parents that they'd have to accept their son as girl, because what's life as a man without a penis? Interestingly enough, in the very small study they did of 14 patients (who the parents told them that they were born a boy), 7 refused to live as a girl and were adamant they were a boy, despite their genitals, and the other 7 accepted themselves as girls, though the author makes sure to point out there were not followups into why these boys accepted being a girl despite being born a boy.
Unfortunately that's about as far I have gotten in the book (due to life), but I have to admit, it's a very good read so far, and makes an interesting read on gender dysphoria, and also what's started this whole gender identity ideology in the first place.
