I've always been of the opinion that the sheriff's depart will have a dedicated plan/team to be dispatched once Barb dies and the bank is on it's way to kick Chris out. Chris may be the village idiot/town nuisance, but he's still exceptional and has to be handled with kid gloves.

I wonder if he'll go hedgehog defensive pose once the cops come in?
I doubt that many people outside of the Farms even know about Chris Chan and besides the two court cases which were at least five years ago and so probably wouldn't be taken into account by the cops in deciding whether to monitor him, he hasn't had that much contact with jerkops recently so I'm not sure they've put a plan together

As for what happens when the house gets repossessed, that's all up in the air. My money's on a ween or Jacob taking him in

I really doubt that. If the authorities were aware of Chris' situation and wanted to step in they would have already. Not to mention how many weens and whiteknights have tried to get social workers involved, so the system there must be aware of Chris and are either ignoring him or they are incompetent.

The sheriff's dept is well aware of who Chris is. It's either because weens called them up so often to do wellness checks, or because of Chris'/Borb's past behavior that brought them to him. There's a video where it's a call to the department, but it's Chris (in the form of a soundboard) that is calling. The cop on the other line sounds like he has a familiarity with "Chris" but isn't smart enough to realize it's a prank.

I agree that Chris could be taken in by weens, but it's only a matter of time before they realize it was a waste of money supporting CWC and he'l be like a legit foster child being bounced from home to home until he a ward of the state.

Come to think of it, does Chris have a lawyer (not Bell)? I knew he had another attorney in court cases after Snyder, and I'm wondering that attorney has to know of Chris' history but hasn't lobbied hard enough to the state to say "this person isn't mentally sound; he needs to be in a group home."

We should wait until the house goes on auction so we can all pool our money together, buy it, and make it our Kiwi Klub House.

After Bell, Chris has relied on public defenders, at least one of whom confronted an attendee of one of the pepper spray hearings about people's interest in following his every move.

Come to think of it, the only real and significant institutional recognition of Chris's autism* has come from the criminal court system. Prior to that, thanks to his parents, Chris slipped through just about every crack; the only thing anyone was apparently allowed to do about his autism was recognize it.

*EDIT: The monthly tugboat notwithstanding, and even then, the particulars of Chris's application for SSDI will likely never be known.

I think someone else may have already suggested this but Josh should buy the house, put in a bunch of hidden webcams and make a real life version of The Truman Show. If you think the stuff Chris posts on the internet is bad imagine all the stuff that he does in private...

they wouldn't get much unless they put cameras in Chris's room. Cause he never comes out of his room
