This doesn't surprise me. From her poetry and illustrated story books etc, it's very clear she has a sweet and compassionate side. Over and over she repeats how much she cared about her job and her students. I doubt she'd use it as a platform to do anything harmful. She's been pushed over the edge by circumstance.

Gina says that the original case made against her was based on false-reports (at Oakland Comm college) that she'd been confrontational and dismissive to students. She states that the specific student in question was someone who was disruptive and refused to do work. From what you are saying, do you think there's a possibility she was confrontational? or more likely that her employer set her up?
The story is murkier the more people come out of the woodwork. It's hard for me to dismiss Gina as completely crazy given the accumulating contrary evidence.

In this archived FB post, I see posted screenshots from a gmail conversation, and screenshots of this kf thread, and that gina is communicating with someone she suspects may be @heavycream. That's nice.

Yeah, that was me. This is a lesson in why you never show empathy/sympathy for a lolcow, ever. One that I will gladly pass on at my own expense.

There's a reason you cannot see the responses from my junk GMail in her screenshot, and it is because it was necessary to block her in order to get her to stop sending emails. She had sent about 15 emails after I stopped responding to her late last year (realising a rational conversation was a lost cause), and my absence was not a hint to her to stop, but rather plunged her down an even more ferociously paranoid rampage.

I did have a lot of sympathy for Gina, because for all her eccentricities, not everything she says is entirely delusional. I made the effort to reach out to her when she was, allegedly, on the brink of homelessness. I did not have intentions to troll her nor financially support her, just to tell her that her blog posts did indeed have an audience and somebody cared about her. She seemed to be truly suffering, and I did not find her downward spiral funny.

She asked me where I'd heard of her plight, and I told her it was from this thread (someone else had already cow-tipped her to its existence). I tried to repeatedly talk her off the ledge, that KF were not in-fact a Nazi armada trying to ruin her life or mind-rape her, or suicide swat her, or [etc]. I thought that if at least she could be persuaded of that, she'd have some peace, something less to worry about. At first she understood it, but the moment I stopped replying to her, she started going completely psychotic again. As i said to her in my final response, this is a testament to why she has pushed away anyone who has had any kind of good will toward her.

I'm a big sap. Seeing people suffer when it is not entirely their own downfall doesn't entertain me as it might others (Gina was fired on tentative grounds, she was incarcerated in a hospital with barely an evaluation, and apparently surveyed by a police officer associated with her previous employer that shouldn't even have anything to do with her life). But this has taught me, as I hope it might teach others, that no matter how bad you feel for someone. Crazy never changes.

I want to laugh at this so bad, but I can't. This is just getting sad. These recent videos of hers are bringing out the side of me that just wants her to get help (That's despite knowing she did some bad things too).
 
Reading Gina on FB has been a rollercoaster this year. She lost her parakeet. Then, it was found and returned about a week later - and died. Then, I think her dog died if I recall correctly. Anyhow, she seems to persevere as shes mentioned a roommate in a recent post, and unfortunately also revealed that she copes best with her pain by drinking, which explains so much to me about the uncontrollably emotional outbursts.

I have included the following screenshot Gina recently posted, as a reminder to myself and others, to not even dare "like" what she says, for fear of being pulled into her vortex.

I still can't help but feel bad for Gina. It would only be from afar & it's more from disappointment in the system than actually for her. She's absolutely a case for permanent inpatient & a strict drug regimen.

I’ve seen young students gush over how much they enjoy their neurotic fucked up professor who clearly has bpd or npd or whatever, so I take the “Gina was TOOOTTALLY normal as a teacher!!” stories with a grain of salt. Sure, people can act relatively normal then have a psychotic break. But every time I read about how she was ~totally normal ~ as a professor, I’m like...ok, are we just talking about the judgment of an 18-19 year old who wasn’t really paying attention? Gina is so over the top, so deeply disturbed, and for such a long time, it’s hard for me to believe she was walking around in a very social position with a heavy workload and not sending up red flags left and right.

Anyway she seems like one of those people who will end up a tragic case (dies of exposure in the woods after trying to hide from imaginary nanites or something) or who will live to be 110 somehow
