It's been mentioned in the thread before, but his 90s Eastern Bloc orphanage origin story is... not great. CBA to find the exact post but I'm pretty sure someone went in-depth about his likely reactive attachment disorder; he was in a Ukranian orphanage, but conditions at that point were likely very similar to their neighboring country Romania, and there are tons of articles about Romanian orphans' horrific inability to adjust to normal life, even those adopted as infants.

Not an excuse for the mess he's turned himself into at all, but it's a very interesting piece of context that helps explain a little bit of his absolute fucking lunacy.
