I felt personally offended by Fredrik Knudsen pointing out "drinking soda straight out of a bottle", because I do that. I guess I made a mental note of that which came in handy now. I found a clip of Terry drinking soda.

Terry A Davis does a pre-grimace. But looks completely normal while drinking the soda. I timestamped the video, but in case that doesn't work, it's at 58:10.

I have come to a number of conclusions (eg serotonin = upperface affect, dopamine = lowerface affect) with intense self-experimentation. If you want to doubt any conclusion I've come to, I ask you to weigh its beauty against the pisspoor understanding that's formally on the books.

Look at Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby. She's got no upperface expression at all. Does psychiatry care to make any comments from that?

You haven't addressed natural carbonation in sparkling water. Does Perrier have the same effect?
What about sparkling wine?
Pop rocks?

I just shotgunned a lukewarm can of Natural Light and I grimaced. Do I have Florian syndrome?
 
@henstepl The first page of WITHOUT CONTENTION, did you have someone else write it? It's the most coherent section of your paper.
What are your sources and do you have any testimonials from other "Florians"?
