That's exactly the problem. Someone threatened violence, and nothing happened to the person threatening violence.

So you're telling me if your neighbor came to your house threatening to harm you for any specific reason and you call the cops and they do nothing, that you wouldn't be a little bit upset at such an event or weary of how things work in a country where threats of violence are usually you know illegal?
Your spergy friend was running his mouth about blacks, and the black guy objected. Sounds about right.
There's a reason he keeps being warned to stop shit talking black people and black lives matter.

It seems to me that most of the people posting here are at the extremes of the debate. i.e. 'Nothing untoward happened, the election was fair, Biden was duly elected' vs 'The US is totally screwed. We'll see uniparty rule forever'.

Now I sort of sense that what will actually happen is something between these two extremes. E.g. Biden will get in but he won't have the majority in the Senate for anything radical. Nor, I suspect, in the House.

However, it would be interesting if someone could come up with some plausible middle case scenarios like this, i.e. not the 'everything is fine' or 'we're completely fucked' ones.
The only middle ground is a divorce. America balkanizes. That way those who disagree with each other are not under the thumb of the other guy

Yep. I'll consider that. Considering they're arguing intimidation and or threats of violence wont' get legal trouble.
Dude, if this is legit, then he can go to HR and report it. If they do nothing, he can take legal action for them creating a hostile work environment. This is why it's so hard to believe this. Unless he's so cucked he won't stand up for his rights.

I always thought about a Czechoslovakia style break up, of course the left would bitch that most of the country would fall under the thumb of the evul Republican Natsees.

You could imagine a soft divorce where red states just ignore the rules coming out of a federal government where blue has a permanent majority.

Assange formally asked for a pardon from Trump and the r/The_Donald comment section is hilarious, they're even quoting Harry Potter like they've never read any other book :story:

It probably went like this:

Friend: BLM are just a bunch of thugs, looters, rioters and joggers
Black guy: What?
Friend: Blue lives and all lives matter!
Black guy: *flips off friend*

If the red flyover states wanna stop sucking at the teet of the blue states supporting them, I whole heartedly approve of them seceding and creating their own shithole.

Moreso they're trying to make the argument that threats of violence is a legitimate reaction to mean words. And that black lives matter spergs aren't prone to violence. I was willing to accept the whole "There's no evidence of voter fraud" because that's a conclusion I could legitimately see people coming to, but you need to be blind to ignore the rioting for the past half a year.

America is becoming a shit hole. Alot of times I feel like Im walking in a fallout game. Without the mutant critters and radition from long gone bombs.

Well in some places there are mutant critters and radition but not as bad as fallout.

Maybe where you live, but not where I do. I'd love for the blue states to stop subsidizing the welfare red states. My taxes might go down.

Then just leave lmao.
Its my shit hole.

Why move elsewhere and compete as a new comer in someone elses shit hole?

Where Im at Im like mid level status of this shit heap. Move some where else and Ill be at the bottom of a different shit pile. Far from home no less. No thanks.

That depends if the dollars value doesnt take a dive soon.

I mean, if he thinks BLM is a problem, and that black people can be talked out of supporting it with reasonable arguments about how race is skin deep, he probably should just stick to posting on reason.com or something.

If your reaction to BLM supporters having their threats of violence endorsed by the state is more centrism..

I'm not convinced. Even if you relied on CNN for your news if you don't admit these graphs and the video from Georgia don't show enough evidence of ballot stuffing to justify an investigation I don't think you're arguing in good faith.

Now it's true you've got a First Amendment right to claim any shit you feel like, good faith or not. However, that doesn't mean I have to listen to you.

It's just as disingenuous to claim BLM isn't violent. And it's coming from the exact same set of people.

>blue states supporting red states
Nigga you haven't seen California. They aren't self-sustaining at all and they are at the brink of bankruptcy. Not to mention they import most of the energy from other states. California is a prime example of a blue state.

People are most truthful in their reaction to something. Especially if they are in any way impulsive, but even without that it just a matter of constant effort until they slip up. Any reaction that is not to the liking of the powers that be is enough to be guilty, which can use to probe for undesirables. From there it is just a matter of getting enough of a reaction to punish the person, or appealing to the right authority, to effectively purge people they don't like. Treat anyone running a purity test as hostile and act cautiously, as they probably have the ear of someone rat you out on.

Suppression often is not a matter of chance or luck.
