That did happen to the Bolsheviks in Russia, but the Whites still lost. But yes, if an untrained mob could take over America BLM would have stormed the White House and replaced the government. Instead all they could do was chimp out enough to feed the "Trump's America is horrible, return to normal!" propaganda and funnel money to the DNC.

In the 1919 case the nations involved were war-weary, in the modern case most of the Western powers rely on the US military for protection, and if I were running China I wouldn't blatantly invade a country where 80% of people hate my guts just to prop up a puppet so incompetent that he provoked a civil war, especially when it's been the most heavily armed nation on Earth for nearly a century and is a literal ocean away.
