On one hand I'm sad it might be over on the other I know trump is such a major fuck up there is a chance he will ruin it even with bipartisan support.

If Trump and his supporters cause 230 to be repealed, I'd be most happy if Twitter and Facebook responded by banning all Trump supporters, making their platforms into leftist echo chambers, and all alternatives were forcibly shut down by the government.

Even if this full repeal doesn't go through I'm not too optimistic about the future of 230. I can only imagine what Biden and Harris want to do to it.

The only solutions to this are to hand the site over to a foreigner.

Private Discord servers, probably, but I'm wondering if those would also be liable to lawsuits, and if Discord would be more hands on in moderating private servers.
