So far, the most bong hit take on this I've seen is

"Biden and Trump are secretly working together, both fighting in secret to defeat the Deep State."

My main concern is some people's main takeaway from the election is that trying to resolve things in a civil way is pointless and they might end up doing something that's equal parts stupid and dangerous.

Tack on the fact that alot of people have had their lives ruined by the pandemic. To the point that they feel like there's no way things will get better nor do they have anything left to lose and you've got a lot of potential trouble.

You know the constitution allows amendments? All the way back to the original writing. So originalists respect that constitutional process which produced amendments allowing women to vote, banning slavery,

So no, "originalism" has nothing to do with anything you said.

I mean, there's a lot of GOPe here, but I don't think this is over, not by a long shot. Either way, there's no reason not to lead by example and be civil, even if the rest of the country has forgotten how to do so.

Sort by birthday and see just how many 100+ year olds happened to send in their ballots. There are only 60k max people in the US over 100, maybe 1.5k in PA. Way more than that are voting.

Some of the birthdays look like they could be placeholders, but why are registrants without verifiable birthdays still in the system, and why the fuck are they voting?

Just FYI, an awful lot of those 1800/1900 dates seem to be for Allegheny County, which is Pittsburgh.

What's also funny is both the city and metro area of Detroit has seen population decreases between 2010-2019 (-6.1% metro). Philly is 3.8% metro. Milwaukee's is 4.2% metro. Atlanta is a 25% increase (though 32% since 2008 and 7.5% since 2016). Beating Obama in Atlanta is very believable considering it has seen an explosion in growth, but Milwaukee and Philadelphia are suspect and Detroit is laughable.

If we lose here we lose forever. I'm not planning anything on here or saying anything that would be shitty for the site. But the only way forward after this, if Trump loses (which he likely will), is to fight.
