Jesus christ, on one hand it's amazing the sheer abuse the human body can withstand and not fucking die. On the other hand, god damn. I've been shot by a gun, and touching the wound after the surgery hurt like hell. I can't imagine how painful having a wound open to the air like that must be.
 
Kelly posted a small update today about chickens. Notably, she looks like she's going to die at any moment. Great job Kelly, you're really gonna do it.

The filter on that photo is so weird I can’t figure out if she really does have a look of imminent death about her, or whether it’s been manipulated to make her look as corpse-like as possible.

Her face is shrunken in enough where the outlines of her eye sockets are visible. My money is she looks like a corpse because her body is fighting as hard as it can against the inexorable cascade of tissue death cased by her idle hands.

Small PL, but I went through something where I was losing a lot of weight because of a medical issue and her face reminds me of mine when it was at it's worst. Like you said, it's the look of extreme sickness or imminent death and that's really hard to fake because it catches you at a subconscious level.
 
It’s definitely not the filter that’s the root cause in that picture. Her eyes are sunken in and her jawline is way too prominent than it might’ve looked if it had been edited/photoshopped in. At this point she’s either going to drop dead or she’ll need the amputation. Her body is going to give out, and soon. She may have withstood a ton of her own fuckery already, but there’s a limit to how much we can tolerate and she’s approaching it.

Yep. It’s not the first time she’s edited her photos to look sicker. I’m sure she doesn’t look great irl, but this shit is edited bad.

Another munchie ana cow with her own thread here, Anna Johnson, does the same poses. So does the Lich Queen, Ashley. It gives the appearnce of a tiny torso swimming in clothing that is way too big. It makes them look frail, weak, and sick. It's not an uncommon pose for ana-chans in their thinspo selfies.
 
Am I nuts or are her hands SUPER bloated/swollen? I don't have the stomach the rest of you do so I haven't seen very many pictures (I can read gross medical shit all day long but pictures are not my bag), so I'm not sure if that's a normal thing for Kelly or if it's new.

I see it too. From her weight, and the skinny face her hands look like they belong to a fat person. It doesn't look very comfortable since it might be a lot of fluid retention.

If I had to guess it might be her kidney's giving out from all the painkillers and pills she pops from the doctors. There's only so much the body can take before it decides it's had enough of your bullshit. And her body is being put through a lot.
 
On reflection, the posture looks like a cold person trying to keep the cold air from riding up their sleeves. The posture she's in, both sleeves should be riding down a little more naturally. And she's not obviously clutching anything with the one hand; it looks like the kind of hand gesture people make when they're in pain.

She reminds me of myself trying to keep my tat hidden from my grandma.
