I like how Amanda starts the video off talking about the "kidnap attempt" then immediately mentions how she is home alone.... really smart move there.
The circumstances surrounding the "kidnapping" are still sus af and she didn't want to get into details. I'm still convinced Spicy Salts was probably invited over or something semi related. I can only assume the other random "internet creators" Amanda was complaining about Digi were Riley, Mint Salad, and their rando friend stay long term at their house (People from the Dick Show). The teeth jab was pretty lolsy.

In the end we all predicted this would happen since Amanda clearly wanted a family and stability. Digi is an all around mess who is now looking for a man? They set themselves up to be codependent with each other right off the bat and brought the worst traits out of each other. Amanda should leave the internet and focus on getting her life together. While this video was nice for the fans to get some closure it's unnecessary. There's going to be more drama between the two they're both attention whores. It will probably occur whenever one of them starts dating someone new.

i made this account just to post here. i've been a fan of digi for 5 years and honestly feel so bad for Amanda, I tried to picture myself in her shoes and i can't see how I could have done any better. Digi sounds like they seriously need help. not even just the trans stuff but it sounds like they don't have any self awareness about how downward their life has been. I have a lot of sympathy for digi but like.. the only way they're gonna turn their life around is with psychiatric help.
 
new user here who used to watch a lot of Digi back in 2014-2018. recently discovered his newest content and am honestly not surprised he has spiraled this far out of control. He's always been a drunken weeb but its just sad/pathetic now rather than entertaining. I have access to the Moving On Patreon exclusive post and listened through it. It's honestly pretty long-winded but the basic gist is that everything May said was accurate. Digi called May a dependent and downplayed his role in her leaving (he barely mentions letting strangers into the house that May wasn't comfortable with). He talks about how he's deep in the red financially but "isn't worried about it", and that he's banking on Khantent (or whatever the fuck its called) getting popular. He's currently living with 2 other guys, I think he mentioned someone from The Dick Show (not familiar with this)? He's 100% deadset on transitioning and says his "shyness towards women was actually him wanting to be a woman".

I'm probably missing a few points that Digi said but the post is surprisingly low-energy and boring compared to his usual rants and raves, so I don't really wanna listen again.

That person from the Dick Show is probably Riley (confirmed, along with someone called "Bird"). Good to see Digi admitting they are retarded when it comes to finances. I also think Digi should have made the video public instead of Patreon exclusive.

As for KHANTENT, it's a new-ish channel Digi is doing together with Nate (BestGuyEver) and it's starved for views, either due to YT not promoting it, both having lost most of their fanbase because of procrastination (haha Procrastinators Podcast) or both. We are at the end of an era. Satisfyingly at almost page 200.

Don't feel bad for Amanda she made her own poor life choices and indulged Digi in their delusions of grandeur. A good partner would keep their partner grounded in reality. When it comes down to it Digi/Amanda were a dysfunctional unit so they're both to blame for the current state of things.

Looks like a lot of us are in the same boat. It's just surreal to have a personality whose philosophy and career I took to heart and really cared about back in my HS days become so disassociated from reality. I always perceived Digi as much smarter/self-aware than that...

I legitimately like a lot of his older content, mainly his Digi Bros channel with Vic, his rants, the Pub Crawl with Cider, & his random discussions in low light about whatever topic came to mind (Insomnia analysis, etc). He's a surprisingly good speaker and can talk about a topic at length and make it sound interesting. He noticably started to change once he started hanging out with May & doing a shit ton of drugs. He started to get really lazy & defensive which made me lose interest in his content. I recently started watching again and can see his lack of recent success and failure to keep his promises have nosedived his career & personality. At first I thought the whole trans thing was a gimmick but it's 100% legit, he's gone off the deep end and is in full identity crisis.

Tl;dw: Digi is kind of crazy right now, but most of it is just to hide from all of his responsibilities. Everything everyone ever speculated in this thread about him trooning out destroying his relationship and just about everything else was correct.
In this post he talks about having anxiety issues, Impostor Syndrome, and Dissociative personalities on top of all his dysphoria shit. It's crazy. I have timestamped a lot of it but it's not 100% accurate due to me having to cut the video up. They're mostly just rough locations of these topics/quotes. You'll see in these videos that May pushed Digi really hard to explore being trans. No one could have ever guessed, ever! So him telling May this might be to show her that he really can stick to something. He admits that it was a huge point of friction in their relationship up until the break in and breakup. Why he chose trooning out in favor of finishing anything else is a mystery.

Digi has a way with words and Amanda is a spaz, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. We were right though, they were catalysts for each other's bad tendencies.

Also Digi talking about suffering from "de-realization" is not just a trans thing. It's a risk of doing lots of weed or doing LSD. It's kind of splitting your brain and taking a the different facets like talking, thinking and acting feeling very different from eachother.

I'm just going to relate my experiences from being a former 420 head and taking your thoughts to a deeper "level". There is no real "level", it's just you thinking about things differently. After having quit over two years it started to change for me. At the start you really feel like you are going through hell and you feel don't feel like "yourself". But "yourself" has changed because always having thoughts running though your head without silence. Now that I only use it recreational I can see the benefit and fun, but using it as a lifestyle is pure escapism in the truest sense.

Digi's time is done. I'm glad he doesn't want to kill himself, I don't want anyone to take their own life. But his time as anime person is over, as we all expected. Even though he words it fairly, he is prone to escapism to his core. He only wants to do what he feels like is gratifying, still not realizing that adults do what needs to be done, which is "suck it up". I do admire Digi saying KHANTENT is a godsent, with Nate and Vic being the true responsible ones.

He also mentions Dr. K, Healthygamergg , who is a great Youtuber. But I think he missed the message. Dr. K is a person who interviews gamers and internet personalities to help them with their mental hangups. Good material.

I think Digi just wants to be a housewife and have someone else take care of the financial and emotional burden. Pretty much his own words in the last video posted by I Digivolved Into A Loli?. He pretty much gave up on responsibilities.
