Kinda on the side of this not really going anywhere. Will be fun to watch nonetheless. Fingers crossed. Angry Blue checkmarks and people stepping out to defend is its own reward.
 
If only Texas could take it above law and just kick down the doors of pedo trash while filling them with buck shot

Great news, but will it actually go anywhere? Hate to be a drag, but I feel like anytime some major corporation gets sued like this they either do a bunch of shit to delay the proceedings, or just settle out of court with little to no action being taken against what they were sued for to begin with. I hope this works out and doesn't take like 3 or 4 years only to result in the movie still being up and someone getting a paycheck.
 
So, what happens next? Does it go to a judge? Is there a trial? Are the filmmakers and Netflix execs lined up against a wall?
 
I'm conflicted on this because they unfortunately the money to fight this, but I've heard from numerous sources that they've been in debt for years (streaming is complicated).

The grand jury has to greenlight it so the prosecution can actually take it to a judge; which in turn, starts the circus.

Not if people stop supporting Netflix because of this. Granted they may come back or Netflix may gain new supporters. It's not easy to tell at this point.
