The U.S. prison system is notorious overfeeding inmates, typically with massive amounts of carbohydrates. The reasoning for this (or what I've heard; I have no source for this claim) is that fat, sluggish prisoners are essentially sedated without the need for actual medical-grade tranquilizers. Prisoners lift weights for many reasons, but chief among them is "if you don't exert those calories, you quickly turn Boogie-sized."

I've laughed harder, but not as long, as I did reading the last ~10 pages of this thread, in a long time. Boogie and Frank are both heroes that we neither need nor deserve, but we are lucky to have.
