Regardless of what happens, Dr. Paul has made a huge impact on many people's lives when it comes to education about freedom and economics.
A much better man than his idiot son.
I will be praying for his recovery.

One good thing about modern medicine is that strokes are far more survivable now than they were fifty years ago. Here's hoping the old bastard pulls back strong and continues ripping on the fed. He ain't done yet.

While I respect him for his tireless pursuit of liberty I wish he would retire from public life. He deserves peace and quiet in his final years.

Even if you don't agree with his politics he is a great man. He is our lolbertarian and always will be.

As horrible as it sounds this happening live was probably the best case scenario for him; That means he is getting probably the quickest treatment possible instead of being found dead or completely crippled at his home a few hours from now.

then start taking an aspirin every day, pussy. This is what finally kicks in your phobia of strokes?
No, the fact that you lose control over your body on the fundamental level. With a missing limb, at least you can hope for prosthetic. Here you can easily lose control over the half of your body at once. Some unlucky bastards lose control entirely and can only move their eyeballs, trapped in their own bodies. Also, brain damage can alter your personality, so you basically turn into someone else with your memories. Or with a half of them, depends on your luck. Fuck, at least with a heart attack you're dead and done, this shit turns you into burden/horror show for your family.

Or you get fucking lucky and make a full recovery minus fine motor control.
Or you die.
.... You know there's always the option of killing yourself.

I wish him well. A stroke can be scary as all hell not only for the person, but their family as well.

Glad to see he's still lucid and was rushed to the hospital. I sincerely hope they can prevent it from getting worse.

The joke is, if you are fucked to the point, that you may consider this, you probably aren't able to.
I meant before that.
Precaution the guy had a stroke ofc he has to be hospitalized tf, I hate when these managers lie so badly. They need to check his brain function and EEG and all that shit lmao why lie about something so obvious?
I agree, dude's 85 years old and this shit could have killed him, do they think we're toddlers hiding behind curtains? (don't answer that)
