This is one of my favorite things about Tumblr e-begging. Even when the cause isn't a blatant scam, so many people convince themselves that "signal boosting" a post is just as good as donating.

Its just like livestrong is a cancer "awareness" charity that's only purpose is to boost the signal and donates absolutely no money to cancer research

Are you talking about the "privilege " we have of having trans women ( male bodied transitioning into females) tearing us ( female bodied transitioning into males ) down?

It is almost like there is no way to escape the sexism of our genitals. Trans men well never be put on such a high pedestal as trans women on tumblr, and ya wanna know why?
Because even after all our struggles to get to where we are we're still viewed as lesser than men who are transitioning to be women.

And you say we have privilege, oh yeah- constantly being talked down too, constantly being told that you have something that you actually don't, constantly being told that your struggles are invalid because you have this non-existant privilege!

News from the front line:

Some Tumblrina called plebcomix responded in horror to an anonymous post by a self-proclaimed "medical professional" who noted that medical processes exist to stop people from obtaining hormonal therapies that they do not need. IDCP, as well as someone called thebiblemachine and someone called foreverhonest, re-blogged the post, adding their commentary. IDCP herself claimed that "a medical professional wouldn’t use someone’s beliefs to deny them healthcare" something that, whilst true, isn't really relevant seeing as "beliefs" don't necessitate hormonal therapy. For whatever reason, plebcomix felt the need to apologize and entered into a pact with IDCP to delete the post.

But plebcomix only deleted the original post without the re-blogs; it's still available on her blog with the re-blogs as of this writing.

With all of IDCP's money-grubbing posts and complaints about her financial state adding up, someone decided to give her some advice which involved selling her laptop, working multiple jobs, and eating cheaply. Being the lazy, fat person that she is, IDCP decided to nitpick the first bit of advice and ignore the others; her followers followed suit. Also, apparently libraries don't exist.
