Punk of the 70s and 80s still doesn't look anything like modern SJWs who are upset the government won't pay them to troon out. That, and there's even a whole revisionist history to punk that claims skinhead "appropriated punk culture as """nazis'"""," not the other way around. They don't want people to think there was ever a right wing in punk culture, and they claim all of it was nazism.

Listen to tracks like "Holiday In Cambodia" and "California Uber Alles"; US west coast punks didn't want anything to do with hardcore commies.
 
The grassroots reserves of money for your local communists have now dried up and all the soros dollars are likely being diverted to future investments or "fun" for the post 2020 election era. Now they understand that anywhere outside of portland, the DA is not going to just throw them back out onto the street before the NLG so much as inhale.
Gradually, this should wind down as more of the usual apes in both shades get bagged and the First International Bank Of Daddys' Money turns down further loans to its patrons

Naturally this post wont age well the moment someone in portland decides to charge a cop with a knife but i'm no oracle.
