In my worthless opinion, I think the premise actually draws people to it, just looking at the Youtube videos and fandom. The premise is tainted by a procrastinating pedo without passion for game development for sure, but the 'cute anime with a fucked up twist' is petty popular in media. Look at all these spinoffs - there's something there after taking away Alex.

But honestly, why nobody can make this game? [EDIT: I see it and I'm leaving it in.] If you're going by Alex's dumbass Hitman/Persona vision...well, that's self-explanatory. If someone actually liked the premise and didn't get caught up in the swirling publicity vortex, like I believe one of two of the YS clones are doing, I think a decent game could be shat out. Eventually. :optimistic:

Just wow. When i entered on this thread for hearing/reading updates/info about Dr.Apesis,his game and his company, i did not expect to see many users sperging only here about anime, manga, Japan and weebs.

Discord is a blight upon humanity.

Giving autistic children with niche interests the ability to talk to autistic adults (and as with this case, other autistic children) about said niche interests is probably the worst idea in the entirety of human civilization. These days we have kids doing and talking about shit they absolutely should not be doing or talking about, and adults who are easily able to prey on these stupid children.

That said, this particular case doesn't seem too bad. A 15 year old offhandedly making a few dirty jokes in a chatroom with a 10 year old is pretty far from ”grooming”.

But kids that young REALLY shouldn’t really be on Discord with random anonymous people in the first place. Especially when they’re in chat rooms regarding weeb games.

The difference between a 10 and 15 year old is great enough that the gap might be as wide or wider than the one between a 15 and 20 year old. Like, if youre 15 and you talk to a 10 year old outside of family, friends’ siblings, or volunteer work, you’re either developmentally disabled or really fucking weird.

And if you’re making sexual jokes/comments, you’re both, plus a douchebag in the making.

I'd suggest reading YandereDev's DrApeis's debunk page to clear up these misunderstandings. Also, please don't bring this up on the Official Yandere Simulator Subreddit Official Love Letter Subreddit or the moderators will censor it move discussion away from drama.

I'm pretty sure part of it is that they're mostly dumb kids who don't grasp how bad something like this is. looking at this defender's twitter I'm guessing she's under 18.

Where I grew up if a high school freshman was flirting with an elementary schooler I'm pretty sure it would have be considered extremely weird (at the very least) by everyone. I can only imagine it's different in some third world inner city shithole where nine year olds regularly lose their virginity, or among kids completely socialized on the internet and disconnected with reality.
