i always read the comments on most of these moms posts and i wish there were more honest ones or ones where they get called out or like asked serious questions about their kids instead of the sugar coated OMG WHAT AN ADORABLE ANGEL when the kid looks like a rotten shriveled up pickle with mold grown on top of it. like i know most of them filter their comments or delete the mean ones but god it seems so grim when you see NOBODY in the comments actually uncomfortable with what they’re being exposed to.

I’m sure those comments get deleted quick smart too. Most pages and groups have a moderation that would make Stalin proud. Comments with anything other than gushing praise and prayers are deleted or dog piled viciously. It’s like poking a beehive with a stick.

Sometimes it’s pointless. Kids with genetic or birth defects are nature fucking up, it’s been happening for thousands of years.

Ms Empathy is different, her home birth woo bullshit caused her baby’s issues yet she continues to promote this quackery and never acknowledges how it caused a fatal brain anoxic injury. Her daughter would be thriving had she gone to a hospital after 18 hours in labor instead of insisting on a home birth experience.

Anybody that wants a home birth should also have the common sense to know when things are not progressing normally and to head to the hospital. Ms Empathy should be stressing a baby’s life is more important than mother’s home birth experience. I’ll be curious to see if she gets out the hot tub for baby number 2.

This is horrible to say but I almost hope Luna's mom's current pregnancy ends in miscarriage for the kids sake. Even if she actually gets proper medical care and the baby is healthy that kid is gonna be raised by someone that's completely batshit, to the point of it being dangerous. I'm sure she's an antivaxer if she even refused ultrasounds.

Best case scenario this kid is gonna end up as Cal Hartley 2.0

I think the shit will hit the fan if baby 2 doesn't have its brain scrambled by mom and midwife.
She never truly experienced life with a newborn because Luna was so brain damaged.
She literally thought Luna's lack of crying or reacting to the world around her was a good thing.
This woman is so stupid dangerous.
So on top of Luna's constant and invasive care, she will have a demanding newborn on her hands.
Something has to give and it will.
That or neglect will come into play again.

Got called a eugenicist because I asked whether or not it was ethical to save a 21 or 22 week baby.

Most home births are fine, so I bet baby #2 will be normal.

Where’s the father? Does he say anything?

daddy's off taking pictures in spain, left her to fend for the kid herself. fuck him. (wonder if he's going to play the role of the horribly distressed "oh how could you do this" parent?) edit: also the ones quick to scream eugenics make me laugh cringe, even though being born at 26 weeks I'm lucky to not be a complete potato these people clearly aren't thinking about the welfare of the child.

I have nothing but contempt for this Kelly Whistler woman, however, I don't see what could possibly violate the "community guidelines" about her videos and I have an equal amount of contempt for triggered snowflakes who're in a perpetual state of being "offended" at everything. Are videos of potato children against Youtube's rules somehow? If so, they'll have to nuke the bulk of the Special Books for Special Kids channel as well, and considering the ad revenue that channel (a virtual freakshow, let's not sugarcoat it) brings in, it's likely they won't.

Yeah, I wonder if her video was just mistakenly flagged by YouTube algorithms or something. Kayli is creepy but I'm not sure how her videos break any rules.
