I un-ironically agree with this post. Any person who is specifically dating outside of their own race who says stuff like, “I only date black guys” (or Asian women, Latinos, etc. Insert different race here) is blatantly fetishizing something about X group of people and are not only cringe, but obviously are looking at a person less like a partner and more like a character, or something. A role to be filled. And what would that make any hypothetical children you have with this person? Would that fetishized and frankly racist POV shift to their children with you?

If you have certain preferences for some physical attribute, fine. But most people who like, say, blue eyes aren’t going to limit their dating pool to literally only have blue eyes.
