My favorite genre to watch Phil play are CRPGs with lots of choice and that expect you to be responsible for your actions. It's like torture for him as slowly over the game all his bad decisions start to build up until he seems totally fucked. He still beats the game, mostly through slamming his head on the brick wall until it breaks and reality stops making sense for just long enough to let him win. Still, always funny to watch the cascade of bad decisions piling up, it's like a microcosm of Phil's life.
He's done it so many times that I honestly think it's theatrics at this point. Somehow he's gotten it into his head that if he pisses and moans enough people will somehow pay more to see him play something which is why he holds these retarded events in the first place, and for all I know he's right. I know he put off Super Mario Sunshine for the better part of a year using the same generic excuse (too much Mario because he'd recently played some other Mario game - the one with Rabbids, I think?) That or he doesn't screen the choices ahead of time and realizes too late the leader is a game that will make a fool out of him, while somehow ignoring the fact that every game does that.
Its impossible for him to spike a womans drink with roofies because stream chat isn't there to tell him which drink to put it into. He'd fuck up and put it in his gin and tonic. Passing out before muttering and slurring a "wow dood, her drink blocked my input."
