He was in My Hero Academia, Black Clover and Tokyo Ghoul, according to his twitter profile (which he has locked, probably due to harrassment).

His crime? Nothing metoo related this time. It's the fact that he made harmless jokes about China's involvement in the coof crisis, him being christian and his support for Trump (and being conservative in general) that got some people very angry. They got even angrier when he refused to apologize.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds from here. I don't think Funimation would be dumb enough to make a public post about Dave, accusing him of racism and cutting all ties. Not after what happened with Vic. On the other hand, if there's one thing I learned during Weeb Wars, it's that Funimation will absolutely do insanely dumb shit and throw the majority of their viewerbase under the bus if it appeases a tiny percentage of woke crybullies. I also wonder if we'll see other Funimation actors throw Dave under the bus like they did with Vic.
Anyway, I wish Dave the best. We might want to keep a close eye on this. Also on Dave's roles. Will he get replaced?

It's been a while since I've kept up with Hetalia (don't judge me), but Spain was pretty popular in the fandom circles I was in. He was shipped with South Italy a lot, so that probably helped his popularity with the yaoi crowd.
I dunno how much that'll help him, though. Vic was in the Hetalia dub too, but IMO, he's not as strongly associated with his role as Greece as he is with, say, Edward Elric and Qrow; from what I've gathered, Vic fans tend to be fans of Vic himself, not of the characters he played.

Something interesting I noticed. A lot of the "accusations" coming from really young teens always go like this.
Teen goes to anime convention with internet friends who are way older than them.
Teen is about 13-14 and is very socially awkward so they tend to look up to older weeb friends
Teen goes to see Vic by themselves as they are the only fan of him
Teen is not use to Vic's fucky and out wack personality. A complete 180 from how they themselves are, and while it seems uncomfortable they go with it because they really do like Vic and he's nice.
Teen takes picture and goes to tell older friends who then proceed to tell her Vic is a predator and she was sexually assaulted.
Teen doesn't know how to feel because they are them and their, and I'll remind you again, much older friends told them and how could they ever lie?
Teen gets a stroke of energy and wants to say something to the convention staff, however the older friends tell them to shut up and never tell anyone.
Teen is now depressed thinking their favorite anime VA sexually assaulted them, and their older online friends praise them for speaking out about the very lie they manipulated them into not mentioning until years later when it was too late.

I hate Trump, a lot of his supporters annoy me, but like if he's not attacking anyone I don't see a reason to fire him. He has the right to be in whatever political party he wants.

I think one colleague did VA work for Disney, who had provided equipment, while Funi had expected their contractors to provide their own equipment.

She and Jamie mentioned it, though apparently Jamie got to pick hers up at Funimation while Monica had to buy her own equipment. At least 200 bucks' worth, if I remember correctly.
