Younger Millennials and Zoomers are far, far past you on the hip and happening train, and you're practically a cultural and political boomer in comparison. Even most boomers managed to grow out of their flower child phase and become "respectable" members of society. In short, it's time to grow up.

I'd say JSBG is genuine relative to serpents like Fat Man and Little Girl, but It's mostly because a lot of them are/were political grifters.
