Maybe if somebody used that Cat Attract litter? I had trouble litter training my own cat at first, but that stuff worked like a charm.

Well yes. What I meant was maybe he reported Nick's mom at the same time he reported Nick and they haven't gotten around to charging her yet. I doubt we'll know, because failure to report is less sensational than the actual abuse, so it probably wouldn't make the local news.
 
I suspect Nick's getting better care in jail than he did at home. It's sad, however gross and detestable he is.

While there is no hope for Nick's spirit, jail is an opportunity for him to rehabilitate his body. According to Nick he is so weak he can barely lift a cat, and in such poor physical condition that he needed three days of recovery time after walking ".41 miles on an exercise machine thingy." The exertion was enough to nearly make him pass out.

In Jail probably no, prison yes.

Also from what I've been told dentists are in both jails and prisons and it's pretty much a yank job, but from what we've seen I don't think anything could be done with Nick's teeth aside that and dentures. Amazing/foul/shameful at such a young age.

Not without penalty if they require it.

[6] Medical personnel will perform medical screening upon new commitments to determine if any current illness or health problems exist. A preliminary examination will be given to each new inmate shortly after commitment to the prison. This preliminary physical is mandatory and refusal will result in restriction of privileges.

It's also somewhat interesting in light of the discussion of the difference between jail (confinement before trial and for misdemeanor and other minor offenses for less than a year) and prison (confinement for felony crimes for a year or more) in most U.S. jurisdictions that the actual name of this facility is Lancaster County Prison, and it appears to mix a number of kinds of prisoner.

Apparently it's pretty much a hellhole and if this story is accurate, their usual "treatment" for being mentally ill is just to shove you in solitary and forget you.

Here's a review from an unsatisfied customer.

A sample:

While there, I got shingles caused by stress. I had open oozing blisters on the left side of my face. Other inmates on the block put in "request" forms that I should see a doctor. My left eye was swollen shut. They came to take me to a doctor.

Unfortunately, it was an eye doctor. He's the one who diagnosed me with shingles, and then I got antibiotics.

In the meantime, I had been put in isolation. The cell had no running water and a toilet that didn't flush. I couldn't even get a drink of water, even though it was more than 90 degrees in my cell.

This hell hole needs to be shut down. It cannot house any human being in a humane way.

I didn't even know who Nick was before this thread. After reading through his ED page, the vile things he did to that poor girl and his psych eval, I almost don't see why Chris is thought to be such a bad person. Sure Chris is a mooching, occasionally violent autist who is a drain on modern society but what this piece of shit has done makes him seem normal in comparison.

I suspect he's being very very very quiet and trying with all his might to avoid attracting attention. I know it was reported he's in segregation, but he's probably scared out of his mind. Probably no singing, but perhaps he's trying to formulate an escape plan. I suspect it will go about as well as his attempt to prove his innocence and be equally well thought out.

He might have seen Shawshank though, the crawl through the pipe of poop might make it worth the attempt for him.

We need to tip off the warden.
 
Yeah, I don't think he was ever so disconnected from reality that he doesn't realize how fucked he is. It seemed like, as long as he was in his apartment, he could push it to the back of his mind but the shit clit clip shows that he understood how his life would change if he couldn't get out of the charges somehow. He's probably doing whatever he can to not draw additional attention to himself on the block.

He'd never manage to escape. He'd be found down there the next morning either passed out in orgasmic bliss from being surrounded by all the shit, passed out from the physical exertion of even getting that far, or just stuck in the hole in the wall to begin with.

It's pretty obvious that Nick's not right in the head but in my opinion he seemed vocal about it mostly to get reactions out of people some way. I also think he knew that molesting his sister was wrong.

He wanted a girl to like him and accept his weird fetishes but cleaning up his act, going out to meet girls, and then talk with them was too hard, too scary, and took him out of his comfort zone. Possibly outside of his ability too. So instead he decides to take advantage of the one girl who trusts him and doesn't see him as disgusting. His sister. He then convinced himself that she was thinking the same way he was and that it would be their secret. Of course he can't keep secret and his sister eventually developed more courage than Nick ever will in his entire life and told a parent.

So here he is now and I also agree he's probably not saying stupid crap or saying much of anything to attract attention. He knows he broke one of the worst laws out there and jail is scary. Him attempting to create evidence that he didn't do something shows to me that he knew it was wrong. Now he gets to think about if it was worth it.
 
Yeah, he knows what he did is wrong, he just can't understand WHY it's wrong. He doesn't seem to be able to consider other people's feelings, he only can grasp what HE wants. Hence his stalking of Anna despite her being very clear about not wanting anything to do with him, and his abuse of Amber. The fact he tried to cover it up later by saying Amber was the one who started it just shows he knew that other people would not approve of what he'd done.

After what he did to Amber and @Ancani, he deserves to be mistreated severely. He's no longer a human being.
