Would be kinda nice to try to identify the biggest idiots and throw them in the slammer for a long time
The dream is over boys. Pack up your rape tents and CHAZ guns.
So it seems it's over. What do you think it will cost to rebuild / clean up?

The courts could rule "CHOP was not an autonomous zone but because people in the CHOP were activily targeting police, Fire and, EMT services to prevent them form entering this caused inability of services to be rendered"An interesting thing about the CHOP is to suppose someone like this sues the city, cops, etc. Consider the following
Lawsuit plaintiff: I was denied service.
City/Cops etc: Nice try but you were in the CHOP, not the US and thus we don't need to serve you.
At that point, US courts need to decide whether the CHOP is an autonomous zone that is somehow distinct from US territory or a part of the US like any other part. I think it's safe to assume they will rule the latter and thus a lot of these lawsuits will succeed.
The other outcome is nightmarish because it implies that the CHOP was actually a distinct entity not under US control. At which point the US is fucked because any part of it can secede simply by having a bunch of people put up barriers and declare themselves an 'autonomous zone'. They don't even need to get the other people in that part to agree. In the case of CHOP, the demonstrators declared it, many of whom were not living in the area. The people living in the area were not consulted and the various lawsuits and protests against it make it seem like if they had have been consulted they would have opposed it.
So if the courts rule against the suits, it means that a bunch of anarchists can march into your neighborhood, declare it an autonomous zone, and at that point they can do anything to you, and US law enforcement will not intervene. This is the end of the US.
Actually abolishing the cops is the end of the US too because at that point you'd have no one to enforce tax collection or indeed any other law. Suddenly all law becomes more or less voluntary. Don't like the local gun laws? Break 'em! And in fact, if these autonomous or cop free zones are being declared in mostly Democrat run areas, the local gun laws are basically 'you can't have a gun'. So I'm guessing a lot of people are going to break them if AR-15 toting nutters move in and declare themselves the government and that you owe them reparations and/or taxes.
Federally, this can be legal, assuming the guns are legal and the recipients are not felons. This is what histrionic white women refer to as "the gunshow loophole".There's a video of Raz handing out AR-15s to randos from the back of his Tesla. I'm guessing that was not legal under local or federal gun laws.

CHAZ's Warlord Handing Out AR-15s From The Trunk Of His Tesla…Gun Control Groups Have Yet To C...mp4
i kept finding articles of attempts to start autonomous zones in a bunch of other cities across the US and even one in Canada. its still a possibility if any future attempts are successfulSo much for mass weddings, cannibalism, and all ending in flames.![]()
Just to point out again - nothing. happened. Doesn't matter which side you're on. Nothing happened.
Seattle is not that big, but it's still pretty big. Its the biggest thing around here, who cares about Tacoma or Olympia. And fuck Portland. And in pretty big Seattle CHAZ was a weird thing, in a small, offbeat neighborhood outside of the main parts of Seattle. And a few city blocks in the middle of something pretty big don't matter. We all had a good laugh, we had highs and lows and friends won and lost, but now the limited edition miniseries is over and now we see what's on Netflix.
Old rich people don't live there - they live in Broadmoor, Madison Park, and Leschi. New rich people working for Amazon don't live there - they live in Belltown and Eastlake. University of Washington is not near there - that's in the U District. Amazon is not there - that's in South Lake Union. There are no skyscrapers or finance businesses - those are Downtown. There isn't even lots of people of color there - black people live in the Central District and moving south to Rainier Beach, Southeast Asians live in the International District, Little Saigon, and Beacon Hill, African immigrants live in Othello. The Mariners don't play baseball there, the Seahawks don't play football there. The Space Needle is far to the west near the water. Capitol Hill, even being in the middle of the Seattle map and having a sooper speshul "Capitol" name isn't even somewhere you go unless you are young and gay or young and punk or young and broke or just broke. It's hard to get to because of the hills and traffic and I5, there's no parking, you have to put up with homeless people constantly asking you for change, and it's just not part of most Seattle people's lives. Most people in the Seattle area don't ever even think about gritty little Capitol Hill.
But people in Capitol Hill itself thinks its really importnat - it used to have a bunch of newspapers like Seattle Weekly and The Stranger and others and it has a street called 'Broadway' and the Pride parade is there. But that doesn't mean anything, because it would be like if in New York City a few weirdos took over a few blocks somewhere out in Queens. Yeah, it'd get some attention because it's weird and amusing and it's fun to point and laugh at idiots, but Manhattan and Staten Island and Brooklyn would not give a shit, nothing in New York would stop. And farther away New Jersey and Connecticut where commuters live would not give a shit. Same in Seattle. All of Seattle is just doing their thing, and the rich suburbs of Bellevue and Redmond and Mercer Island do not give a shit about CHAZ.
It's fun to talk about CHAZ and it's fun to point and laugh and it's fun to imagine what might happen and this or that scenario, but that's really just rpg gaming just as much as the CHAZ people are. And really it's just not that big of a deal.

If the CHOP were a legally recognized thing and actually autonomous yes, its still part of seattle though that the city just let go way too far, they could probably sue for negligence leading to that situationThe legal system won't rule on whether or not CHOP is or is not part of the US. They'll throw the suit out regardless, because the police/EMTs/firefighters/city/whoever-the-fuck-you're-suing has no duty to do shit. If someone is beating you bloody on the street, a cop can just sit there eating his sandwich and laugh, and you have zero basis for a lawsuit because they aren't obligated to do jack shit.
Maybe you could sue the people responsible for CHOP for creating an unsafe situation and preventing the timely access of medical personnel, but that's about it.

I feel cheated that we didn’t get even one measly suicide-by-cop. What the fuck, now I hate commies even more.
