I've been struggling with this idea for a while. Why is it that the far left don't see their opposition as Human? As in they don't care about calling them racist names or anything else that would get them "cancelled".
I finally realized it's because of collectivism(in Marxism), or it's older name, Tribalism. On the far left and the far right, they both engage with tribalism. On the far left, everyone should be equal, but if you are of the other tribe all bets are off, you aren't even considered human, so they are free to do as they please.
Scientists discovered this years ago when they found chimps would disembowl chimps from other tribes with no remorse while patrolling their borders. It's an ingrained psychological behaviour than Humans still have in order to protect their lands. The far left and the far right exploit this evolutionary mechanic.
On the far left it's "everyone should be equal, you should join our tribe, this is the tribe causing the inequality". On the far right it's more overt "Any other tribe than ours is inferior, lets start an ethnostate".
Both have different methods to lure people in, but they peddle the same tribalist mindset. The other side isn't even human, they are pure evil. Malcolm X even commented on it. Saying that the right will make their intentions known. But the left will exploit ideals of equality and compassion that eventually leads to a similar path.
